Pet peeves of mine.
Boss: (5 minutes before quitting time on Friday) Can you come in tomorrow?
That drives me insane! Especially since more college athletes talk this way. One reason why I turn off closed caption during games.
Here are some of the things I've seen people (Possibly French and Mason, but not necessarily) post before that are related:
1. The offense wasn't recruiting to a specific system like the defense does. So even when we got good recruits on that side of the ball, they didn't thrive.
2. Many of our OL were converted TEs. In my very uninformed opinion, we focused too much on recruiting skill position players. Moble QBs like TT5 could mask OL deficiencies by going into scramble drill and finding an open receiver or picking up yards on the ground, but LT3 is a different kind of mobile and isn't as likely to create his own opportunities like TT5 could. (TT5 was a sports car while LT3 is a 4WD truck)
3. Past offensive coaches didn't develop talent well (see every post French has ever had about differences in Line play between 2012 and 2013)
Glad to hear that original post may be a troll. Frank is VT football!!! Any of you guys remember the last time we lost to VMI? 1981. Frank came in 87 an turned us into a program that people want to play! I only wish we could have another 25 years of Frank!

Chris, Chris and Will did an outstanding series on the lack of offensive recruits in the state of Va during that period (relevant as to how much we recruit the state). Also, a lot of the recruits we got (especially OL) were busts.
My take on that is this:
IF VT makes it to the ACCCG I want us to tear FSU a new one and we'll end up in the OB and I would love to see our Hokies beat whoever they play (I have a sneaking suspicion it wouldn't be an SEC squad)
IF VT does NOT make it to the ACCCG, I wouldn't mind seeing FSU dethrone the SEC
I kind of gave up on conference pride a while ago, but I hate nothing more than the SEC...except maybe tOSU..I HATE tOSU

I'm still kinda iffy about buying a new console. I'm on my 3rd 360 now. I waited untill 2007 to buy a 360 and still had 2 red rings of death happen. My 3rd 360 is a arcade edition with a 12 GB hard drive attached to it and its been working since February 2010 so Ill stick with it for the time being and see how many if any console bugs/failure's happen with the PS4 and Xbox One.
