They started to move Mangus to WR earlier this year, but had to move him back to RB because of JC's injury and Caleb's suspension prior to the Bama game. I see him having a role where he mostly plays in the slot and some times takes jet sweep hand offs and/or motions into the back field. I think this is how he's gotten most of his more recent snaps on offense. He can also continue to be the next man up and possibly supplant a current starter for return duties on kickoff. I would be very happy with him as a full time starter on kickoff return if he's not going to be one of the top two RBs. Most of DW4's big returns were when he wasn't playing a lot of snaps on offense, if I remember correctly his kickoff return production dropped off a little his senior year when he was the full time starter.
I believe it was mentioned somewhere above that Caleb could see more use as an H-Back, not sure about it myself since he and the coaches have mentioned that tailback feels more natural to him than reciever.
While Wright is still listed as a TB on the Hokie Sports Roster, he's on the depth chart as a FB. I think he was only designated a TB for the Bama game, same reasons as Mangus above.
Also worth considering is that Wright, Coleman, and both of the incoming Freshmen all have a redshirt year remaining. I wouldn't be at all surprised if 2 of the 4 RBs end up taking a redshirt year. And all of the top 4 RBs listed will be draft eligible following the 2014 season so if any of them put up big numbers it's possible they leave early.
One final thing is that Tabyus Taylor could end up at receiver, as the article linked above said:
Before his senior season, Tabyus was regarded as a talented receiver with an uncanny ability to catch the football in traffic as well as an ability to adjust his body to find the ball.

I've heard you and others say many times how depleted our offensive talent was in 2012 & 2013 as a result of poor recruiting (presumably from 2009 - 2011?). As someone who's followed VT very closely on the field but admittedly didn't pay much attention to recruiting until this year, I'm very curious to know what exactly happened...
If you look at 24/7 or Rivals, our recruiting rankings seem pretty consistent (high 20s - low 30s) ever since we joined the ACC. Of course, I know sometimes those rankings mean nothing. And, those are overall rankings and not offense only, so it's possible that exceptionally good defensive recruiting classes during 2009 - 2011 pulled up our offense and got us back to our historical average.
I'd just like to know, in a little more detail, what went wrong. Did we not pursue certain recruits we should have? Did we not get a recruit that would typically choose us? Did things go wrong with injury / academics (ie Drew Harris)?
Lastly - there seems to be a lop of optimism about our 2014 and 2015 classes, but again, the recruiting sites have us ranked right where we typically are. So is there anything specific fueling such optimism about the upcoming classes?
Maybe there's already been an article breaking this down, if so a link to that would be fantastic. Otherwise...I thought this might be an interesting topic to cover during the bye week, as I'm sure others have the same question. Of course, I'm sure you're busy with plenty of other stuff during the bye so no worries if you can't get to it.

I didn't think to spin up Fiddler to see where the download was coming from, but I thought it also came from TKP due to the fact I had opened a bunch of threads and then got the download notification about that many times. Maybe we're being hijacked by the only competent computer engineer at LOLUVA?

Hacky sack barely takes more energy in real life than it does in that game.
I think it does help the ACC perception. Look at the last, what, seven years? LSU, Alabama, Auburn, and Florida have all won national championships, and against who? The Big Ten, the Big 12, the PAC 10 (? at the time ?), and Notre Dame. Then, guess what, the ACC gets a shot and BOOM FSU wins it all. So they'd technically be 'back'.

I'm an intern at VDOT, and over the course of the summer the head of the intern program's intern would email all of us whenever one of us had a birthday. There were a couple things wrong with that:
1) I would get reply-alls back saying the same thing with the same stupid emoticon.
2) She forgot mine.
The head of the program's intern was pretty annoying too, thought she was hot shit because she worked in central office with the director.
Oh, grad school is a gold mine.

Nice. Basketball team also plays #1 Michigan State at 9:45 on Tru TV at the Barclays Center on Friday. Huge weekend for VT sports and get this: it's without the football team even playing.
