Damn that's crazy, thanks for sharing. Kind of seems like it may be difficult to see the action from most of the seats. Anybody that's ever been to bristol and/or a nascar speedway care to chime in? I'm going regardless but lack of jumbotrons and the gradual incline of the seats just make it seem like some vantage points will really suck.
Day before the game shave.
On Gameday:
Everyone in the room with me must take a shot of Bourbon (usually Makers) before kickoff, Straight up. Hat facing forward first half, hat facing backwards second half. 12 year old MV trumpet t-shirt "always between 2 40s" worn under the newest maroon polo. Game day cigar on person or nearby. Keys in hand or in my left pocket. If we are down at the half a second shot is required. Everyone must stay in the spot they are in during the game. If someone leaves the room and good things start to happen they are not allowed back in until points are scored by the Hokies (this includes myself). No negative comments that involve turnovers or big plays by the other team.
Yeah, bringing a pair of binocs would probably be a good idea.
That was my all time favorite game I've ever been to. Not because it was particularly exciting but because it all Bristol was talking about and the trash-talking was no more. Yet they still write, "Virginia Tech doesn't deserve a rivalry with us. We're in the SEC. They have no business even competing with us."
Everytime I see a post like that I comment "37-14" regardless whether I really know the person all too well or not.

I feel terrible about this as an engineer, but I can't help to point out the mistake in the title that everyone seems to be overlooking...

I have to say that I'm slightly amused seeing the difference in a lot of people from prior to the game and now after the game with those helmets.
I say that if they correct a couple things with them, they should stay in our future lineup for years to come. It would be even better if the team were allowed to put different color helmets for different sets of people. Could you imagine having "normal helmets" for most players, but having something like the defensive line become "The Hokie Stone Wall"?
Please, please let's beat these guys.

The 2009 Peach Bowl was just too sweet. Nobody loved watching that game more and seeing us drive Tennessee like a nail more than I did. And now this? I will definitely be there.
PS: I love you Hokiegirl. You love the Hokies and hate Tennessee. That's all I really require.
WCYB and Channel 11 in Bristol said they'd have live coverage of the press conference on Monday so I'll definitely be watching now that it's confirmed that Beamer and Jones will be there. Hopefully there'll be some online live link for everyone else to watch.
I thought that was a decent write up. Really puts the RB struggles in perspective. However, I think the secondary surprises him, and we get 7+ sacks. I mean, UVA did it...
