We also have a NFL QB who is finally developing chemistry with his WRs. I'd let him sling it around more often then not as well.

It has to do with our redzone offense which has been struggling in the rushing aspect. We did do well today with that Logan to Coles connection multiple times though.

Every time Miami makes a stop on the option, the announcers say something to the effect of "that's how Virginia Tech did it 9 days ago." I don't think anyone will come close to doing what we did in ATL, but I guess it's good that our D is getting the respect it deserves.

I'm not mad either. I feel like it's an attempt to make the passing game more effective on our side too. It's like you said, teams prepare for our rushing game. Why not beat them where you can.

Watching Morris makes one have a deep appreciation of Loeffler. It's apparent, Loeffler knows how to make a QB better. Not sure if Morris has improved over the years at Miami.

I don't think the running game is as bad as it looks. Our rushing numbers the last two weeks have been abysmal, but we really haven't made an effort to establish a running game. Edmunds has only had 20 carries in the last two games. Teams are game-planning to stop the run and make Thomas beat them through the air, and so Thomas is beating them through the air. And even though we didn't get any big plays in the run game, we did use it enough to set up some play-action, which was effective today.
I watched the 4th quarter from the NEZ and it was mostly full except a small portion near the top. And the people around me were pretty damn loud. And that scoreboard really is impressive when you are right under it.
It's a pretty low percentage this year. Definitely need to start capitalizing and getting the dagger touchdowns.
