He may end up having to, but by no means is he a point guard. He is the very definition of a shooting guard. Kid can hit from anywhere in the gym, just might not always be able to make his own shot against some of the bigger guards.
What about Ricky Walker? Wasn't he there today? He's been pretty pro-Hokies recently. Him and/or Nnadi would really cap off this class.

In other news, Baylor is torching the cousins. 49-14 in the first half and 550+ yards of total offense. Guess they still haven't figured out what defense is in Morgantown.

It's tough to say that because UNC would have obviously preferred Renner to play but I thought the same thing too.
We didn't get great pressure on the QB today but the few times we did he was able to scamper out of it and pick up some big first downs to keep their drives going and help in overall field position. We gotta get better at that though.
Yea, he's the closest thing to a lock that we have right now. Just waiting on academics but not sure when he finds that out.
Landing him could also be huge for the Tim Settle sweepstakes since they're pretty close. Stroman + Payton = Settle? One can dream.
If Renner played I think it would of been a more lopsided game. Tech's defense is more vulnerable to dual threat QB's, which is why in my mind they played Williams instead of Renner.
If a Payton gets offered, he should commit right away.
I'll be at the Miami game as well with a couple of my old West Springfield High and VT buddies. Actually, I'll see the Hokies two weeks in a row, up here @ BC on 11/2, then flying down to Ft. Lauderdale on the 6th. A lot could be riding on that Miami game.

Actually you shouldn't tweet recruits. Under certain conditions like if you have given money to VT you could be considered a booster.
The even better news is that this wasn't the D's best game, and the next two up have the potential for better numbers. Time to put that Pitt curse to bed!
