2004 was easily my favorite season of Tech football during my time in Blacksburg. This post gives me hope...

...it all begins Saturday.

In general, good barbecue is like good steak; both can only be found at specialty restaurants.

First time poster, long time troller. Lover of all things #goacc

Cullowhee is a small quaint town, which Appalachian State frucking owns. Being that it's an hour from Clemson, I enjoyed going up to watch my fathers Mountaineers (the only damn Mountaineers there are, or will ever be) torture those poor poor souls each and every year. As for things to do in Cullowhee, you can go watch a college remake of CATS. Yeah thats about it, that and baseball. They're pretty decent at baseball.

Though I'll give credit where credit is due, Cullowhee is right next to Sylva, the main town in the county, and that town is awesome. They have a couple dive joints with great food, and awesome pizza restaurant that last I was there (2008) served awesome microbrews, and a waffle house with the most entertaining wait staff. Seriously. I remember being mesmerized by one of the cooks there, but can't remember a dang reason why.

As for VT claiming past ACC titles, that's fine with me, but you'll never get one from Danny Ford. Not out of his living, godly, warm, pure american hands. And even once the good lord decides to have a drinking buddy up stairs, you'll never rest them away from this Clemson fan.

WF - because the battle of tiny two named private schools is always won by the south
da U - looking for a state championship from U guys
Oregon ...
Sakerlina ... Clowney back in form
OU - WVU is headed towards the dumpster
ND - because it's in my blood

1. Deacs
2. da U. They're back!!!!! but will inevitably lose to UVA
3. Oregon wins by at least 137 points
4. Skaralina and their mustard-based sauce!
5. OOOOKKKKKLAHOMA where the sun comes sweepin down the plain
6. Michigan in probably the most boring game of the day.

I'm sure the beer will take care of itself, but I have a more pressing concern. I have to go to a housewarming/engagement party on Saturday. I have given the lovely couple ample warning that they must figure out how to play ESPN3 on their TV, but my confidence in them is lacking. Would it be rude to show up with my laptop and an HDMI cable just in case? Or do I have to resort to sitting by myself in the corner watching on my phone while resenting them forever?

This^.
I have sat on a stump outside of B's with barbecue sauce running down my face and bits of slaw on my work shirt and wondered if I had somehow died and the inner sanctum of heaven had opened up to me.

Probably tweaked or bruised something against Bama enough that coaches don't want anything worse to happen during a practice for a team that's on the schedule because W&M was booked. I'm not concerned. The coaches are likely making sure he's ready to rock against Marshall.

I swear, if B's Barbecue doesn't make it on Foe-rensics next week (THEY NAMED THE DANG ROAD AFTER IT!!!) I'm gonna flip my cubicle.

I'd like a matchup with TCU too. They're kinda like us... Started small, built themselves into being.nationally relevant, and they have an unorthodox color scheme. It couldn't be more perfect.

I think the author of this article eventually grows up , becomes even more of a whiny miserable person and becomes a commenter on Tech Sideline Articles.

Don't get me wrong, I like reading articles on Tech Sideline, but I'm done with the peanut gallery on there.
