Number could be solid white with orange outline would be fine. Simple but modern is what I want to go to. I'm simply tired of the throw back look
Even paper football isn't played on paper. It's played on desks.
number just have to contrast the jersey color, no matter the outline color. no more black on black or white on white, even if they do have a with glow yeloow outline
thanks for clarifying!
Sean Glennon to Quentin Cotton - seems to have worked well for us in the past :-)
I thought faded numbers were no longer allowed. Also, the changing jerseys doesn't bother me as much...I just want them to stick with the maroon helmets.
It took everything in my being not to downvote the very mention of this.
We like playing "old man football too, Bama." I like it.
If you're a player or coach right now...why would you NOT cheat? It seems like there is no longer a penalty for stepping out of bounds. It really turns my stomach.
I'm so proud of the way Frank has run our program.
Because the NCAA says (rightly so) that it should have been obvious to him that, given the number of items he was signing and the people for whom he was signing them (known brokers), that most or all of them would be destined for sale. There is a rule against that, as well, even if the athlete himself does not profit directly.
Very possible. And I dont mind that either but that works for the true big boys with iconic unis and I don't think we're one of them. As much as some fans like the old all maroon and I do to. It just needs to be updated. As I've said in other threads something like Boise states new units except maroon obv
Only way Beamer retires this year is if he hoists the crystal football. So, yeah, I hope his prediction is correct!
haha indeed sir!
GiddyUp! (It's for more than just a horse on a treadmill!)
Man, I bet Dez Bryant is superpissed.
I concur Mr. Barkley
An agreement has been reached between the NCAA and Texas A&M that a source told ESPN's McMurphy closes the book on Manziel's recent issues. The NCAA has acknowledged Manziel did not receive money for signing autographs, the source said.
So why is he suspended??
the NCAA has outdone itself once again.
Yah, We were pretty successful against the Trojans for the first three quarters. I think they did underestimate us coming in and looked like they were a half step slower than us (maybe a little jet lag) We wont have that benefit against Bama being so close to Atlanta and I think Saban will keep the team focused - more so than Pete Carroll.
2 reasons we almost pulled the upset
- 2004 VT - Great performance by the D at the line of scrimage - can our 2013 D stop Bamas ground game??? I know that has been brought up, but it can't be under emphasized.
- Great performance by Bryan Randall - he kept drives alive with his feet and arm. (2011 Logan Thomas must return!)
2 reasons we fell short of the upset
- 2004 VT - -2 in turnover margin to USC. (2013 young playmakers must hold on to the ball - this part of the game has me very worried)
- 2004 VT D gave up 3 big plays to one man...
Reggie Bush 35 yd pass for TD
Reggie Bush 53 yd pass for TD
Reggie Bush 29 yd pass for TD
2013 VT D must contain Bamas playmakers - Foster's motto - bend, don't break

Agreed, I can see players who are on a good track and will be ok, I have seen players who it could go either way, and I have seen players that you just look at and think...it's just a matter of time before you implode. I always hope they don't, but you can see it in his demeanor.
Green (UGa) got 10 game suspension for $1000 jersey autograph. I think Jackass Football should have gotten the brass boot the ass.
Only a matter of time until he implodes. He thinks he got away with something and now thinks he's bulletproof. Can't wait to hear his next "I'm just a 20 year old college kid" excuse for doing something he knew was wrong.
I think play action and 'Bama will have it covered but Logan will keep it and run for 9+ yards.
Draw play with Edmunds. The coaches have constantly preached the need to establish the run. No better way to test what you're up against by doing something easy (in theory) to execute and see what you're up against. With new receivers, no way we go deep. A short passing route is possible, but I see that happening after we've established the run to try to open up the middle of the field.
plus one to you, I appreciate it. I was using photobucket and copying their direct link.

It's section 337, row 7, seat 7.
