I have nothing against dedicated fans, national titles, great recruiting, and nice facilities...It's just my preference to pick a decent jersey style and stay with it and I like the classic ones we have with the solid maroon helmet. Lot's of the most storied programs keep the same uni's year in and year out. But hey, that's just my preference, and I understand yours...I think it is the generational gap.

It looks like you're trying to embed some sort of .png.html as an image, which I doubt will work. The simplest way to embed a tweet is to click "More" in the lower right-hand corner of the tweet, click "Embed Tweet" and paste the code they provide you, like so:

And if the combos are well done what's the problem with being the Oregon of the east coast. Let's see a program that has dedicated fans, competes for national titles, great recruiting and facilities yea I'd like that

The NCAA has acknowledged Manziel did not receive money for signing autographs, a source told ESPN's Brett McMurphy. An agreement has been reached between the NCAA and Texas A&M and this "closes the book on the matter."

So...why is he suspended? Because the NCAA had to waste time on this?

Not a problem. I'll actually be taking a more active roll on the site this year with a weekly front page media post and I'll be providing additional footage for the columnists. Going to be a great year!

It's bad sure, but as one of my friend's pointed out, OSU vacates wins for tattoos, and Manziel gets a smack on the wrist. Either he is too profitable for the NCAA or they know it wasn't that bad.

EDIT: and out of curiosity, my screen shot tweet only shows up half the time...is this the case for everyone? if so, how can I make it better...

I clearly remember a conversation from that Summer. My Uncle and my cousin are die hard Clemson fans and this was our first year in the ACC. They said VT just isn't ready for this level of competition and isn't expected to do anything. He said it was going to be Clemson's year.

Then they went 6-5. First time I started talking crap about college football.

I think it is fair like you say. Football isn't played on paper, now is it..

The Heisman winner getting suspended at all is not good.

Prepare for the worst on this kid. Just a matter of time.

Have you ever heard of the subreddit r/scoreball? Because you basically just gave a perfectly executed caption from it. Impressive, Mr. Horse...

I think it's generally a fair assessment. I think they Gayle point on their new tackle means more than he gives credit for. If Gayle is double teamed with a tight end, the job gets easier for everyone behind the line. I don't think, "We'll put two guys on Gayle" gives UA an edge, actually, I think this is a detriment for UA, and it is closer to even across the line. We have a lot of experience returning there, more than they do.
As far as the secondary is concerned, yeah, Antone would have been nice there, and I think Cooper is a tough out if Kyle gets him, and having two true freshmen is tough and....
But all in all, not too much to nit pick there

X. Adibi getting hurt probably changed the tide of that game more than the Non-PI call. That USC team was LOADED!
They were supposed to smoke VT right off the field. Until they didn't.

VT was undervalued that preseason. In fact I think VT was picked to finish like 8th or something in the ACC so there was a lot of motivation.

I see a lot of similarities between this team and the 2004 team.

I found this pretty good article on the subject...http://www.newsadvance.com/inside_vt_sports/features/chris_lang_blog/art...

Here's how the Hokies have recently fared against the spread as big underdogs. Unfortunately, VT lost every one of these games, but they played some of them much closer than Vegas thought. With regard to your question, VT only beat the spread against USC in 2004 by 2 points (it was a 16 point spread), but anyone who watched that game knew the result was much closer than the final score. WTF offensive pass interference.

-- 2002 at Miami (+17): Tech lost 56-45. (beat the spread by 1 pt)

-- 2004 vs. USC at FedEx Field (+16): Tech lost 24-13. (beat the spread by 2 pts)

-- 2001 vs. Miami (+13.5): Tech lost 26-24. (beat the spread by 11 points)

-- 2012 vs. Florida State (+12.5): Tech lost 28-22. (beat the spread by 6 points)

-- 2007 at LSU (+11): Tech lost 48-7. (spread wins by a shit ton)

just watched that replay...garbage call but i think if they could have reviewed it, it might have been overturned.

I mean, I fully believe that someone could come out and in <5 plays score on Bama and shellshock them. But they would get over that quickly. If you come out and just chip away at them, that gets frustrating. That beats them down. That gets under their skin.

Sam Rogers throws an interception to Kyle Fuller from behind the three point line and scores a wicket.
