I have heard in previous posts and tweets that the hokies will be wearing all white since bama likes to wear their all whites. I haven't gotten wind of anything different but I'll start looking around.

Clemson (ACC needs to look good in one match up and maybe they can get into a shoot out with UGA)
LSU (too much talent)
Boise (They always do well in these games)

Nice. Actually my wife and I mock the commercial all the time. Every time we see something incredibly stupid down here, we say, "Roll Tide". For example - we pulled into a parking lot to see a lady who had her child in a car seat balanced on the open top of a trash can. I look over at my wife, and before I can say it, she says...."Roll Tide."

I won't down vote you for your negativity. And assume you were making a joke.

Personally I think there is something special about this team. I think EVERYONE knows that they got complacent last year and have an extra fire this year to prove that last year was a blip. I feel better about this team with these coaches going into this game then if we had an ok year last year and kept the same coaches. I think we will see some vintage Tech football and a fire we haven't seen on the field in years.

I think we will beat these guys. Bama is the 1980 Soviet hockey team. Their time is done.

UNC - They at least cover and might outright win. USC almost lost to Vandy in the opener last year and looked like a steaming pile, so I'm going with the tarholes. #goacc

Ole Miss - I have no idea what these teams are like but Vandy beefed up their record on some sorry ass teams last season and Ole Miss looked competitive against tough teams.

Alabama - Going for the reverse jinx.

Clemson - Clemson seems to have gotten over the SEC hump. Oh, and also this guy UGA

LSU - Hard not to take the under considering less than 20 total points might be scored in this game. The Hat seems to dominate this type of matchup though.

Boise - Just Boise being Boise and dropping a deuce on UDubs fancy new stadium opening.

Is there any way to account for turnovers, weather, or injuries? I suppose it would involve some type of sensitivity analysis. VT seems to be more sensitive to key injuries than bama. No issue with weather in the dome. 11% chance of winning seems high but it is better than no chance.

I would guess that we will be wearing what the players in the background of the picture are wearing. Orange jersey, white pants, maroon helmet.

Hopefully we hear something by tomorrow about jersey and pants.

They usually announce this stuff a week ahead of time.
