Every day I wake up thinking "Our new offense couldn't POSSIBLY be worse than the last decade of incompetence...."

and then I realize that these guys have never played in this system in a real game...and they haven't had very much time to learn it and install all of the plays. I have all of the faith in the world that our offense will improve immensely over the course of the season, but I don't think we'll see immediate results against Alabama. At this point, I would caution against hoping to see anything earth shattering. I think our defense will keep us in this game for the first 3 quarters. What our new offense does will determine how that 4th quarter will look. I think if we're going to #BEATBAMA we're going to have to come out on fire and score fast and early...catch them off guard a little bit

Since 1993 (the start of the 20-year bowl streak), Tech is 117-10 when winning the turnover battle.
Virginia Tech is 52-8 in the last 60 games when winning the turnover battle.

It's hard to argue with those numbers...
