Great question @JonathanFarris7! Although #CFAKickoff is a neutral-site game, @VT_Football is considered the home team.— Chick-fil-A Bowl (@chickfilabowl) August 6, 2013

Do you have a link? It would seem to me that we're the away team since we're listed on the seating chart as being on the visitors sideline.
Well if it pisses Bama fans off then I like it.
We are actually the home team according to the Chick Fil A Bowl's twitter. Honestly, I don't see us wearing a certain color just to keep the other team from wearing it. I could care less what either team wears. It's about production, determination, effort, and never giving up. Wear pink camo for all I care as long as you put it all on the line and, in the words of Bud Foster, play your nuts off.
Count me in for liking the idea of Hokie Stone uni's as long as we have a good designer working them up. No pro-combat weirdness though.
Maroon helmet makes me happy.
Yeah, last I heard Bama was the home team and we were wearing white and it pissed some Bama fans off.
Now that's a throwback! Just like the days of the early 90'2 when you could be 4th in line and sitting in row GGGG.
Weaver's breaking all the old tricks.
Thanks! I thought I missed it.
Very rarely.
if you go to www.imgur.com and click the "upload from computer" in the top right button, it will give you the code to copy and paste in here. You want to paste the "HTML Image (for websites & blogs)" code
Edit: corrected the link heading
That was even more frustrating. I only found out it was at Lane because a friend of a friend texted us. Otherwise I would have been waiting at Cassell for no reason at all. When is Lane's ticket office ever used for things like this?
I told you it was for those who don't care about political correctness. Don't like it? I don't care. I'm not in the business of being politically correct.
The confirmation email we received when we bought the tickets said they'd be distributed at 9 on Monday at the Cassell ticket office.
Next thing you're going to tell us is they're switching from Polyester to Cotton...
For a neutral site game I'd like for it to look like there is a clear difference in the fans. Especially when they're cutting the tickets right down the middle.
Bump, in case anyone forgot
hate dumbass comments you'd expect to see on some 12 year old boy's twitter feed? yeah were gonna hate.
and the shit about mcnair and taylor is too fuckin much. get some perspective.
I believe this is the email that came last week to tell you when tickets were ready to be picked up and where to go. How did you know to go on Monday to pick up your ticket? It was from this email. At least that is what I was told.
This was sent at 9:30 on Monday morning. The original message when we bought the tickets (on the website, which has already been taken down) said, IIRC, that tickets would be lower-level seating and given out first-come-first serve.
I've never really understood this. Who cares if the whole stadium is wearing a similar color?
