I don't know if this is fake or not....note the third sentence..."Please remain from using...??? Obviously, they meant refrain....but this falls right into the same I'm-smart-because-I-work-at-UVA-so-I-don't-need-a-proofreader mentality as London's recruiting letter.

Not surprising. At least there's no uncertainty going through camp. Others will step up, by necessity. It's too bad for him, but I hope he's healthy for the heart of ACC play. That's when I want him to be 100%.

Think of it this way - James Gayle will have McCarron on his ass so much during the game that the secondary won't even have to work hard...

this. both facyson and manning have had their moments. one of them is lining up against amari (i'm assuming), and its their opportunity to become stars.

I hate it for him, but not a huge surprise.
Better to let it be known going into practice.
He'll be back when it's time.......

Kinda agree with you on the last point. Also feel for Marshall. Which is perplexing, since Wiles seems to have this reputation for running his group as a meritocracy.

i thought the same thing about the gio bernard quote. if not frank somebody on the defensive staff at least.

why is everyone saying we are out of it with Shai? it seems to me as though we are in his top 3 seriously competing with pitt and fsu

Time for the others to step up.

Facyson or Manning, and Kendall Fuller as the nickel. I trust Torrian Gray to know how and where to compensate.

Can he still travel to GA? The team needs him on the sidelines. Man this sucks. Hate it for him bad.

That is the problem with projecting these big guys. They are still growing out of HS and sometimes their coordination/strength don't catch up or match earlier predictions. Sometimes development doesn't happen as expected. May take a little more time and definitely will take more work if it is not there yet.

"Ted Roof is a good hire. Great for Tech go get a guy like that. You look at those guys on D and they play hard. I thought they had some talent on D."

Torian mentioned today that Kendall will be playing in the nickel position in 3-WR sets, with RVD playing in two tight-end and i-formations. It will be the same attacking position, except Kendall will be asked to cover a slot receiver and RVD will be on a tight-end or FB. Makes perfect sense.

This Joel Caleb at running back experiment really seems like it's an attempt to get him the ball, plus to supplement depth at the position with a larger body (no offense to Mangus or Tony Gregory, but they're skinny). I hope it sticks and we see a lot of Joel this season.

maybe, but we've had our share of highly rated recruits not living up to their predicted potential. See Nick Dew/Kris Harley/Mark Shuman/Zach McCray. And thats just recent 4* recruits. If anything, I'd say we do better than most schools at developing 2-3* talent
