I'd say Virginia Tech and Boise State can exclusively claim a title that we do the most with the least.
There's always a Wang hanging around the VT locker room...
between him and his brother... it's quite possible.
No way any minor league football system would garner as much attention as NCAA Division 1 football. You're not going to get 65,000 people to attend football's equivalent of the Norfolk Tides.
I swear it seems like Wang has been on the team for the last 10 yrs....
I was sad. I did a ctrl-F for "get after" and came up empty.
Edit. Yeah I read that last part wrong.
"Wang's is a done deal" is referring to his 6th year being approved. He is therefore classified as a redshirt junior and will have another year to play after this one. (Hooray Guard / Center depth).
Yep. I believe it reads as "Wang's [medical hardship waiver] is a done deal" not "Wang's [career] is a done deal"
I watched Harley a good bit last spring...
He either has highlight plays, or he falls down on his hands and knees. Wiles supported this when he said something along the lines of "Kris can't stay on his feet", or something like that. He shoots forward out of his stance toward his gap, and his momentum going forward literally pulls him down to the ground, taking him out of the play. He clearly has strength, size, and attitude, but he may lack the balance and agility required to play the position.
Chazz...c'mon, man! Fuller, the #3 recruit in the nation, our lone 5 star...I have no problem with this mental game the coaches are playing. A) it tells Ronny he better bring it B) it shows the lack of depth at this position. I think it's a brave move, I'll give u that; but a necessary one.
Secondly, Harley being buried is his own doing. He's been given every opportunity the others have had. He is to show more consistency on the field, and less consistency at the Chinese buffet!
Wang isn't hanging up his cleats, he was awarded a 6th year.

Speaking of tutors those guys are pretty awesome some of my friends had em and hooked me up with their study guides....helped me out a good bit in chem
I started reading that and then a link came up on the side for the hottest fan bases in the country. Needless to say I got distracted.
Did the Frankinator say that?

I think this is clearly Duke's year. Probably Wake in the Atlantic Division, too.
Also, really wish we landed S. Diggs. Such a wasted talent with the uncertain Twerps
That makes too much sense and I doubt there is much interest from the NCAA or NFL. NCAA stands to lose a lot of money as premiere athletes leave to go to the minors (like Baseball). The NFL loses because they have a minor league system now that they don't have to pay for. Unless the NFL thinks they can make a ton of extra money off of bucking this current system and building their own farm system I wouldn't expect this to happen.
I could not agree with you more. I think part of the problem (probably much more so for basketball) is the policy that high school graduates must attend college to be drafted. I have never understood that rule. If a 17 or 18 year-old kid has the ability to earn a pay check with out a college education and is okay with the inherent risk involved, he/she should be able to do so.
I think the only way this issue is resolved is for the NFL to adopt a developmental league structure similar to MLB. Draft kids out of high school if they have the talent and let them earn a fair pay check right away in a minor league if they want to. That way, kids who want to get paid their market value immediately after high school can, and kids who want to continue playing as an amateur while earning a degree can, and college football can maintain a (more-or-less) even playing field. Win-win-win.
clarke was nicknamed "cb" when he enrolled which stood for chubby backer so him losing weight might not be a bad thing
He was at TE for the spring, which would explain dropping weight. But he was switched back to OL during the summer. So now we have a guy who would be a smallish TE playing OL...
"Stephone Anthony was a highly rated linebacker coming in, and he has hardly done anything. Its time for highly recruited guys to be developed and step up.
This pissed me off the most. I wonder what he'd be doing in O&M. Maybe its just me but for all his faults, CFB always has the coaches that can develop talent. Personally I think we are the best in the country at that.

I would certainly hope so!
