Shai Mckenzie on the ask.fm or whatever the hell it is stated that Tech was in his top 2 and repeatedly stated that he loved Tech. But he also admitted he wasn't a virgin.. So I don't know if I want the guy anymore..

Devil's Advocate: I agree with all points. But to challenge the summary sentence of each paragraph: "IF the Sam overpursues...", discipline is a staple of Saban's defense. If you're not where you're supposed to be, you don't play.
"passing game to effectively compliment", seems like a bit of a stretch for the season opener. Expecting big things from the passing game, but is a 50/50 balance asking too much? I think Bama is susceptible to some big plays/breakdowns, but recent history shows a lack of a sustained offensive production from pretty much everyone.
The common denominator in beating Bama the last few yrs has been to run the ball and pass for less than 20 plays.

yes for some of our fans, but not nationally, and when i say signature i mean like should never be touched, really the only ones are michigan, bama, penn st, usc, ohio st very very few schools have that and we simply arent one of them.
I enjoy ragging on his play as much as anyone else. But I truly appreciate the MAN he was post 4/16. He was the face of the school and program, brave in the face of adversity and a positive influence on his fellow students. For that he will always be a True Hokie to me.
Yeah. Was when Billy Hite "retired" from his coaching position (he went HS at Damatha). Funny, I don't think he was ever that influential getting recruits from there.
From everything I have heard, Stroman is a heavy UVA lean.
FWIW, Walker's twitter retweets are incredibly pro-Tech. Has to be a good sign, but then again, who knows with 17-year olds. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Nnadi is a must. Walker would be nice, but Penn State is really pushing. Shai seems like a pre-Madona from what I've read, and I think he's a heavy PITT lean. Greg Stroman and Noah are out. I'd be shocked if we landed Noah. Izzo would be great, but at 6'6" he isn't playing H back. TE all the way. As far as the backers go, I'd like to think Lee, but he's leaning to Liousville. So we'll see...if we get the DT combo I'd consider this a successful round...lots of big uglies and bullies, which is really what we need. McMillian is legit, I'm really excited about him. They need to find a way to get the ball in his hands.

Great hands: check. Feisty attitude on field: check. Finishes routes: check. However, what I like most about his clip are the plays highlighting his intensity to block--specifically keeping his hands and body on the opposing player. This kid is light years away from most junior high schoolers. Great grab coach M.
