and Ekanem. Adding those 2 with some of the talent we already have/has committed could make for a special D line in a couple years.
You're probably using Internet Explorer
lol, absolutely great article and timely reminder for the upcoming season, but it's just outdated enough for good humor
This is the late night exchange. According to the Twitter profile, @allypoppins is Alex Cozza a Virginia Tech Lacrosse Commit from Pittsburgh.

It seems like after his visit to Blacksburg, one of the recruiting sites prognosticated that Shai wouldn't be a Hokie and that news spread like wildfire. He might not end up signing with Virginia Tech, but I don't think we're out of it. It seems like he's been going back and forth, and if we're getting his last official visit, then we have another shot to sell the program on a game day environment.
Really is high quality work. Chinese in general are only just now becoming aware of football 'Merica style but it was fun listening to them. But I showed this to the guys in my office as well from UK, Australia and South Africa (and two others from USA) which started a great convo about sports in various countries (mostly rugby v football). Most stadiums for rugby games in Australia are around 20,000 seats at best. They couldn't believe we pull 60k for a university team on a weekly basis and that there are so many teams doing the same or more. I had to find the proof that the Miami game measured a small earthquake and show them our entrance.
Anyway, can't wait for what you guys do next.
A good friend of mine who has the best football eye I know and is a huge Tennessee fan said that we should not be sleeping on Lamont Simmons. The Vols are absolutely in love with him, but all accounts are that he is as close as you can be to a Hokie lock.
Sadly, I have not had a chance to watch his film, but I would trust my buddy on his opinion about a football player even if Jimmy Johnson was telling me he was a stiff.
No need to badmouth recruits who have yet to make a decision because once he picks us, you'll be stuck trying to pull your foot out of your mouth. Let the kid be himself for now and trust that if he commits to us, the coaches know who he is and will show him the Hokie way of doing things.
Let him go to FSU then ... Where he will fit in nicely.
Agree.....but don't forget Mihota! I think he may surprise.
Don't forget Mark Irick.
haha wow! that is amazing. Agreed with Dozer, that is absolutely the reason we do these. Thanks for sharing that!
Somebody needs to figure out how to hack the video boards at the CFA bowl in order to play this 5 min. before kickoff.
Thanks jmichons! Lets just update that thing for this season by changing JT to Justin Bieber and Jon Dunn to Marcus Davis.
Damn it feels great to be a Hokie.
Well, if they're cheering properly, there won't be any paper planes or facing away from the field...
I miss live OSU games to watch the hokies on TV. I also skipped the michigan game to go to the UVa game two? years ago
That is the most awesome video I have ever seen. Great job guys!!! Can't wait for 8/31/2013!!!!!
There was a lot of hatred being thrown at him from fans at games. I hated being around that. Never have I seen one player get singled out so badly, and I've never been sure why. He had his moments where you just shook your head, but there were so many others that were the opposite. We had a group of guys near our seats one year that constantly heckled Glennon, and it was unbelievable. We could usually shut them up by suggesting that if they could do better, they should try to walk on the team and replace him. Otherwise, "he's in Orange & Maroon - we don't heckle our own, so shut it."
Walker and Nnadi are top priorities for sure. The battle is won in the trenches and it looks like Grimes is doing his job to make sure we win 1/2 the battle. Getting Walker and Nnadi to play with Teller would be HUGE.
Give SG a break. The guy got dumped right after the LSU game when we had to burn Tyrod's redshirt the first time. True story haha
I can only speak for myself but certain people get attached to certain things. Poking fun at Glennon, in my opinion, is part of his story/mystique. Do I think its fair or did he actually do anything to warrant it? Not really. Hell Glennon could've broken the school passing record and I still think people would poke fun at him the way they do. Why do certain players only get loved and never hated? I have no clue.
I don't like the precendent that seems to be shaping that a good kid that tries hard is villified.
I think its is a one off thing tied to a specific person. Bryan Randall fits that description and I've never heard of him getting vilified, same with Cody Grimm, Corey Moore, Cedric Humes, etc.
I respect your opinion, but I just don't see it as a big malevolent force. That being said I don't really read much beyond TKP and don't really see much hate in anything directed towards SG, I see it mostly as fun.

I see thats the hokiesports videos page, is there a date or something I can narrow my search down with?
Edit: Sorry for the multiple posts, I found it. Thanks Billdozer for pointing me in the right direction.
They have a statue of Danny Coale making the infamous non-catch in the sugar bowl at 3:11.
Not really of course, but that's the first thing that came to mind when I saw that statue.

That and CJ's on the case. As long as CJs involved, we've got a chance...
