I miss the Tailgatefever guys. However, they did lead me here to TKP. Folks should have to read and sign that they understand these obligations when purchasing their tickets.

Would you mind sharing or pointing me in the direction of where I can find that clip? I love that guys voice. It always takes me back to Blacksburg

I had a copy that I recorded in person but the crowd roar was overpowering. I searched the depths of hokiesports and found the original.

I'm not sure if it will help with noise, but it will certainly help to make the north side of the stadium look as good as the rest of the stadium. East, South, West are all towering and intimidating then you look at the north and, yeah. This huge scoreboard will definitely help the North to look as "big boy stadium" as the other three sides.

Turkey leg to anyone who admits to being an Eskimo brother to this fellow.

He's probably not that good anymore. Marcus makes Mike look like a Mensa member.

"The Vick brother who is good at football has told the one who isnt to pipe down before." I really don't like that line. It's pretty hard to pretend that Marcus sucks at football, he's just a complete shit head.

Probably should be updated to include things such as arriving on time (early), no paper planes, facing the field at all times, etc.

Maybe me and my game watching buddies were just over the top, but it seemed to me that the stadium was constantly erupting no matter who we were playing. I remember one game against Akron were the score was something like 75-10 and nobody left, everyone stayed and kept cheering. Beamer could have put the cheerleaders in at the end of the game and they still would have kept scoring TD's. Akron was just that bad that day.

Then again, those games featured a lot of blocked kicks, particularly punts, and INT returns for TD's, so maybe that accounts for why it seemed crazier even for lowly opponents because there were constantly big plays being made, but I swear Lane seemed more raucous and loud then than it does now with the upgrades and expanded capacity.

I respectfully disagree. The shots directed at Sean Glennon are completely different than fans yelling 'Boooooone.'
Anyone reading some of the junk directed at him should see the disrespect.
It's just my opinion, but being critical of the play or mistakes that a college athlete makes is one issue, but personal attacks are unjustified and frankly an embarrassment upon the spirit of collegiate athletics and the institutions that participate.
Now, if a player disrepects the institution through poor personal choices, and crimes, assualts, etc, then have at it.
Sean Glennon, to my knowledge, has never done such.
I find it interesting that there are plenty of players that may have great accomplishments on the field but failed at life; and seem to avoid the hate. It seems like misplaced priorities......

I don't like the precendent that seems to be shaping that a good kid that tries hard is villified.
But, again, just my opinion......

I doubt we would. I'm sure worse things are said on the field, but it's the start of training camp and everyone wants any kind of football news they can get.

What he said was wrong, but dude is getting Paula Dean'd. He said it in June (No statue of limitations for stupidity) I can't help but wonder if Macklan hadn't torn his knee up if we would even be talking about this since he's expected to step up into a starting role.

I don't think many people really "hate" Glennon. He was/is a classy dude, played the game hard, and was a good ambassador for VT. That being said people seem to be getting sensitive about taking shots at Glennon. Its no different than yelling "BOOOOOOOOOOOOONE", its just something you do as a Tech fan.

I generally agree with you - I think that DT and LB need to be the priority moving forward to sure up up depth in the front 7. Jay Payton is a unique story because of injuries and how now he is in prep school - - however, I think he's a very good fit for Mike and would fit nicely with Brandon Lee as a backer and Raymon Minor as a whip / backer.

I think DBs are the least important at this point due to the depth we have at the position, but Lamont Simmons has a big time offer list and in Torian we trust.

It would be nice to get another RB in Shai Mackenzie, and I still think Noah Brown is the most dynamic offensive player on the board.

Ryan Izzo is a big, rangy TE / H-back type of kid who just has mismatch spelled all over him. I think he's the guy Loefler lines up all over the field.

Either way, the rest of these targets are big boy recruiting challenges - - VT is going up against the likes of Ohio State, FSU, Wisconsin. Cam Phillips was a HUGE get, as WR was a priority. Let's hope we can continue to close on these prospects and #keepchoppin toward that National Championship by 2016 !

Yeah, my trainer is going to be curious why I push out 10 more reps on everything from now on.

It's exit light. Enter night. It's for those who have passed and for those who come...it's doomsday might be the greatest fucking line ever uttered next to does it get any better in Blacksburg on a Thursday night.

You guys have outdone yourselves. If this isn't the shot in the arm for everyone to get fucking psyched to beat Bama, go cheer for the state school

And throwing Kendall in there. Ugh. This is just awesome.
