It literally was. I'd put that day against anyone's best day as a Hokie.
Best of luck to him. Your ball now, Coleman and Edmunds.
Can the student judicial board also do something about scheduling ECU for the next 50 years?
Last time we played Alabama our starting running back from the previous season couldn't play (Evans was hurt) and the world met Ryan Williams. Where you at Trey?
i do believe the charges were dropped in the end
between this and DJ Reid prepping, landing Shai McKenzie just became a priority.
3-star OL from Ohio Colt Pettit will be in town.

There were two others who were arrested and charged the following day:

Fuller...quite possibly the best Fuller yet for that matter.
I can't say I understand why they would basically kick him out of the university for this, but we may never fully know the real story about what happened that night. I wish him the best of luck though.
Student judicial board - smart kids
can only go by what has been read on news, etc but i just feel he legit got the bad end of this. still dont get how he was the only one that ended up getting charged with anything
Yeah this is too bad. It sounded like he got caught in a bad situation defending his girlfriend. I wish him the best in his future endeavors.
Also, my first time heading up a blog post. God bless this site. Thanks, TKP staff.
Watched that game from the back of the endzone at Hickory High they were playing Landstown and Deveon Simmons (who would have been a beast had he made it to Tech) hit him low and Percy Harvin finished him off as they stopped him short. Boone was unreal that game, and it was a shame a team had to lose.
Loved Greg Boone. I heard that in his Regional Championship game in High School he was stopped on the one yard line on a two point conversion that would have tied the score. Apparently he was responsible for all but one yard of his team's total offense that game. Not sure how accurate that is but its both unbelievable and believable.
Thanks alot guys. More proof that TKP is the most informative Hokies site available.
Pfaff is delaying his enrollment until January I believe because of shoulder surgery he got recently. Word is the Jefferson and Reid are preping, not sure on Andrew M (not going to attempt that last name)
According to Andy Bitter Oakton running back Mike Wandey is is enrolling as a walk on. Lets hope he has similar success to other Oakton walk ons (Cody Grimm and Jack Tyler)
First off, kudos to mstrawther for his efforts. The time and talent you poured into this is awesome. I'm SO jealous of those with artistic ability, because I have little. That said...
Logos - Simple is fine, usually better, but it should be INSTANTLY connected to the product (Apple, Nike, Dell, etc). If you have to explain it, you've missed the mark. If features aren't recognizable (Highways to VT, Outline of our great state) their usage is futile.
Suggestions:
1. Make the Virginia outline more accurate and detailed, so it's recognized quickly.
2. Mark the location of Blacksburg within the outline, maybe with a football? (I realize it's small)
3. Absolutely, positively, incorporate our VT logo on it. I can't think of any other symbol for us that is stronger. Some may misinterpret it as Vermont, but the state outline and adding OUR COLORS to the VT should eliminate that. My thought is put the V in the "V" notch of the VA outline (and maybe the T top could extend to a spear tip stabbing at BooHooVille, or a hand with a Thor hammer coming down on them, LOL).
AB covered it all here. http://blogs.roanoke.com/andybittervirginiatechfootball/2013/07/09/ten-s...
Where is the list of all of the players who have enrolled?
Fisher didn't qualify, Jefferson, Reid, Pfaff, and Matuapuoka (I know I probably butchered the spelling of his last name) are unaccounted for at the moment. They could report in the Fall.
Has anyone heard a list of the guys who didn't enroll? I am curious who may have not qualified or who may grayshirt. I heard the names Fisher, Jefferson and Reid right after signing day.

i just find it hard to believe that if random student gets in a fight off campus and gets in trouble for it, they wouldn't be "permanently separated from the university."
blind justice indeed. . .
