Okay, I didn't go back through who all I'm following to find him, just searching for his name and it wasn't showing up. But he's been off the grid since April.
I can see a mini game of Mike London running around the locker room before each game with a whipping towel to level up on time-outs for the following game.

It seems that both he and Drew Harris deleted their Twitter accounts because I can't find either of them. Not sure what that really means, but I'm thinking it's not a good thing.
Me either...it seems that ever since he signed his letter of intent from home, since he was suspended from school, that he has gone underground. No news...google it and you won't find anything.
I hear ya but you lost me at the end - "8 to 9 wins as a starter" - that's some seriously specific speculation for a kid that has yet to start his senior year in high school.
Why would he have eligibility problems if he's not getting paid or receiving any other kind of benefits from it? Seems to me the 1ststring people are in the wrong here, not JC? (I don't know all of the rules and don't care to look into them so I may be wrong)
I don't think it's that big of a deal as long as he didn't receive any monetary benefit, and I highly doubt any investigations come out of this.
I don't remember his stats off hand, but I'm pretty sure he's only thrown 11 interceptions in 3 years. His completion percentage is near 70%. And he's thrown a shit ton of TDs. I don't think he has too many "ill advised passes".
If I made an NCAA sports game it would be 1/2 playing ball, 1/4 Leisure Suit Larry, and 1/4 Grand Theft Auto. Maybe even sprinkle in a little Fable.
You'd be able to gain experience points by going to class, and you'd gain street cred points by going to frat parties and beating up popped collars, although I'm not sure which one I'd use to make you play better on the field.
Remember that these highlights are from his SOPHOMORE year in high school!!!
Or maybe risk NCAA violations by trying to pay recruits or hiring recruiters.
Hahaha. It would be nice if one of the things you could do for your team is upgrade the boosters. Or get a waterfall in the locker room.

My only thoughts are that people often use what they see in the highlight videos as grounds for saying "I like the things this kid brings to the table." In reality, they are taking a season worth of plays and chopping them into 5 minutes to give you his best ones. They don't show where he made mistakes, where he faced heavy pressure and caved, where he threw ill-advised passes because those won't get him recruited. He has the skills, but there's no telling how that will translate once he gets to college. A good QB coach (which I hope Loeffler is) can make all the difference.

I just like the fact that breaking tackles has gotten a little more realistic. Don't know how many Bama LBs I ran over with LT to pick up an extra 3-5 yards. The tough part is that the defense plays the option better now. Make the wrong pitch and you toss it into the arms of the defense. It's closer to reality though.
He should keep it up! He could turn into one of our top recruiters!
Honestly, judging by some of the stuff Eli has said, it sounds like he doesn't enjoy being in Charlottesville. I don't know if that means he doesn't like UVA, but he doesn't seem to like the town.

I sent Stewart Mandel a note asking him to not waste any more column space on Arrested Development. This week he answered three questions about it. I don't go to him for that, I go to him because of what he knows about college football.
Same thing with Peter King's MMQB. It used to be football. Now there are Mr WhoCares travel notes, beer recommendations, coffee recommendations, haikus, and a lot of extraneous stuff that really clogs up the articles. I can handle the non football thoughts of the week, but at this point half the article is non football.
