For cinco de mayo, some friends and I went to El Rods. I ordered the mixed fajitas for 2. It was awesome. My friends mocked me (shoot, I'm only 170, give or take a donut), but it was still worth it. I'd beat an old lady with a stick for some fajitas right about now...
Clearly you got something other than the prime rib. THAT, my friend, is still excellent as of about a month ago.
Hindenburgs were win. And if I remember correctly, they were half off on Mondays. Monstrosity of a sandwitch that "feeds four", but my roommate and I would half an order and proceed to food coma shortly after.
Schooner beers are a must as well. Great way to start the night.
No decision in Cornwell's hearing today. The family brought more information to the committee and they felt they didn't have enough time to properly assess the new information. They will reconvene on 6/12/13.

i have a good friend who graduated from ecu as well and he told me while he pulls for ecu he'll never be a full on "irate pirate" because of the way he's seen ecu fans treat opposing fans. he's a life long hoo and he was with us in charlotte in 2008. he didnt say much after the blocked punt but he definitely had a smirk on his face the whole way back to the car.
On the plus side, LOLUVA getting fed to Louisville every year will be fun to watch.
I've visited ECU plenty of times, my best friend graduated from there. Their fans have little to no class, and that includes the women. Also, my friend admits that the girls are nothing special, considering the Carolina reputation that proceeds them.
Edit: That being said, I will still be there for our game next season.
Can someone explain this to me like I'm 5?
Nevermind: Apparently I thought it was more complicated than it is.
I actually think a 10 game conference schedule would be perfect. It would deter teams from playing I-AA schools and leaves enough room for a school like Clemson to get their games against Auburn and SC in (most schools aren't going to have more than two non-conference rivals). You play everyone like you should and you can still get your rivalries in. But we all know this will never happen unless they increase the season length past 12 games, which the NCAA might have to do with all of this conference expansion.
The ACC is bound and determined to make itself a basketball conference.
Indeed.
I'm convinced Jimmy John's has saved my life some nights after leaving TOTS.
Or maybe the ACC should invite UConn and be done with it. That way, they can fill the void left when VT and some of the other Football Schools leave for more exciting conferences.
No word from the ivory tower on the golden domers, and what to call those games? Special-non-ACC conference games?
I don't suppose I need to tell you that you need to rectify this pronto. Arrive hungry.
They traded Schaub away even before Vick's dogfighting history was made public (by a month), and then drafted Ryan a year later. They didn't get rid of Schaub because of Ryan, they got rid of Schaub because Vick was their guy and Schaub was getting expensive.

Man, how many off campus people were saved by Jimmy Jone's being sent to your door during midterms or finals?

But really, I hadn't been until my senior year.
It's hard to beat the London Broil and Fantastic Frank for on campus, but the special dinners at D2 have to be the best. Christmas, thanksgiving, chocolate lovers, it doesn't really matter. D2 also has Lucky Charms with whole chocolate milk at any time of the day, which is an undeniable advantage.
The perfect off campus line up looks like this:
Breakfast: any combination of Carol Lee's donuts.
Lunch: Philly cheese steak (with tzatziki sauce) from Souvlaki.
Dinner:Mafioso pizza from the Underground or Teriyaki chicken smothered in Hokie sauce from Kobe.
Depending on how sober I need to be in the morning, a $1 hot dog from Big Al's or the 50 cent day-old bread from Jimmy Johns also deserve to be on the list haha.
If they do that, it causes problems for FSU, Clemson and GT. I am in favor of it but a 9 game schedule doesn't solve all the problems...at least until they go to a 13 game season.
I feel like what happened is Bookbinders might have been a semi chain, there's at least 1 or 2 others I think, and they decided not to renew in Christiansburg, but the chefs there bought the place and made it Blackstone Grill, which reopened shortly after.
We blocked a kick in that one, right? Right before halftime?
Mom was in the bathroom, thought she'd beat the halftime rush.

I don't like anything about this. Can we please switch our non-conference rival with that other Virginia school?
