2004 Maryland game (wish I had a clip) - Jared Develli kicks off and during Maryland's return, a Maryland defender is just GUNNING for him, running full-out. Develli (6' 1", 243) reacts by backpedalling a step, catching the defender, and throwing him OVER his head as he falls backwards. Develli is flagged for a PF or roughness (can't remember), announcers were chuckling at the call. Just a bad-ass moment by a VT kicker.

This game in some way should make the field. Beating FSU the way they did in a Championship game when FSU had previously owned the match up was big time. It could easily have been 3 W's in a row if they hadn't taken Tyrod out on the first play of the 2008 game
