Could have been a twelve year old girl for all we know. Those people don't necessarily have any credentials. Just like sports and writing and almost all of them openly show their fandom bias. Bleacher report has zero credibility in my book. They have done a million college football entrance rankings and they all have been different. Just one guy's opinion. Not Bleacher Report's opinion as they try to show.

Thanks for the memories Erick. In a year filled with disappointment for Tech sports he was the long shining star. It was truly a privilege to watch him live this year.

Classy move by Brownell at the end of the game- with 12 seconds left his players were done fouling, but he saw Green with the ball and yelled for his team to foul him so Green could come out of the game. Quite the season for Erick.

I have heard that the NCAA is very concerned about AAU type problems spreading into football, and is considering tough limits on 7on7 / tourney team participation. Things like requiring all players on any given 7on7 team to be from the same HS.
We'll just have to see how it turns out.

I'm having a love hate relationship with the site. I get all pumped watching trailers and depressed when I see 182 days on the countdown...
VT has missed plenty of in-state recruits over the years to the hoos and others. I wouldn't lose sleep over this. At the end of the day, we have the coaching (i.e. experience and stability) and talent development that is the envy of all but a select few programs.

Have all YouTube pre-streamed. Nothing is more annoying to me than to watch YouTube video and it hangs in the middle. A way to pre-stream the video makes it smooth, IMO.
I agree the Hokies stones need to have the edge faded out a bit.

There must be a mistake here. Stiney recruits the 757, and he's such an incredible recruiter he absolutely had to stay on the staff. There's no way he would lose a top national recruit to a school that hasn't had a winning record since this kid started high school.
It's centered, but it doesn't exactly "fade away." You can see the edges of the stone pretty clearly. I'm splitting hairs, though. I was just thinking if the Hokie stone covered a little more of the page, the fadeaway would look a little more clean. Once again, this is just really detailed, the site looks great.

I cannot think of a better Hokies to have his jersey retired than Erick Green. His contribution and unselfishness is what embodies the "Ut Promis" spirit.

this is why i think he deserves to have his pic hung in the rafters. dude is a leader, a hard worker, he genuinely want his teammates to get better, and he genuinely loves his school.
i think he's even more remarkable because he's worked for everything he's accomplished. he comes out of high school a 3 star kid with his other offers coming from the likes of jmu and george mason. he was god awful his freshmen year with a funky hitch in his shooting motion. now look at him, he's so silky smooth and so deadly accurate. i would be a fan even if he played for another school but he plays for my school so i fucking love him. good luck in the association erick, you will be sorely missed.
