It will be a joke if only one member of the offensive coaching staff is fired. Stiney should no longer be the oc, he has done nothing with exceptional talent the last decade. Since he has 15. Years of seniority I don't thank frank will let him be fired, just reassigned or let stiney himself step down. Newsome has completely regressed our offensive line since day one 15 years ago we at least had mean olinemen that wanted to kill the other team. Ocain has shown me he does not know how to coach qb I feel watching Logan he never looks for the check down or a true progression, I have heard people blame the guru Logan worked with during the summer but dear lord if you can't fix the issue within the first 4 games then you have to be a bad coach. That is my two cents.

You'd think working with maroon and orange, we'd have some of the best uniforms in the country. Its a cool color combo. Also the classic VT is great logo. It must've taken a tremendous amount of work to take all that good uniform potential and come up with the all white unis with Foghorn Leghorn on the side of the helmet.

This article is the reason I started following the TKP. My time following wrestling was brief and mostly after the WWF had taken over (circa the late 90's) but all of the comparisons still made an incredible amount of sense. I laughed out loud when I saw UVA was Buff Bagwell. It has all the look and feel a really clever insult, but at the same time its eerily accurate. Just an outstanding article all the way around.

Great preview (as always) French. I know it is cliche to say that the game rests on the shoulders of the quarterback, but I really think we will go as Logan goes. Hopefully he comes out sharp and we can get out to a quick lead. Avoiding a slow start is very important in these bowl games, in my opinion.

that the only change is Newsome leaving, Stiney moving to OL coach or hiring Chris Malone to coach the OL.

I also wonder if LT coming back for another year may influence the QB coach. I'm not sure if he likes or doesn't like MOC.

I'm not so sure it is as much of a "done-deal" as most fans seem to believe. Don't underestimate the power of the "outlier year" excuse being used, especially if we win this bowl game. I don't know any inside information, but it might take one more shit-tastic year for anything to happen. Just putting the Devil's Advocate out there. We'll see....

of public opinion. I think Teel and McFarling are great beat reporters but if they had been a little more forthcoming with criticism 3-4 years ago we probably wouldn't be looking at a 6-7 record in 2012.

I know, I know, hindsight is 20-20...

Everyone knows there will be changes. They just want to look like they were in the "know" and correct knew it happens. See if any of them stick their necks out and predict who will be the replacements.

...had been benched for poor play. I'm not sure that makes too much difference considering how ephemeral Legaux's play can be play-to-play, not to mention week-to-week. But I thought their 10-3 win over Cincy was more impressive thinking they saw a similar Muchie that we did.

Also, of note, Rutgers gave up the fourth fewest sacks in the country. They may have a so-so offensive line, but presumably Nova is proficient enough with his check downs to avoid the sacks.
