but my implication was that if we are going to improve offensively, it won't be until spring and summer practice, hopefully with a new look to our offensive staff.

And, well, it's all perspective. If we put up 300 yards on Bama, a pretty small number but one that only 3 teams (LSU, TAMU, UGA) put up on Bama this year, that would show improvement for our offense, show that they can move the ball some against an elite defense.

Minus the PCB stripe, that's about what I expect.

And if you're looking for marked improvement in offensive philosophy, you're probably better off waiting until 8/31/13 to turn your tv back on. Or maybe the spring game, if it's televised this year (teams are starting to do that, right?)

The way the season's gone, I could care less about what they wear. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it's the orange stylized VT (a la Boise State, see below).

I just want a win, and a win that demonstrates marked improvement in offensive philosophy.

Well, I don't want to be "that guy" but its hard for me to get too psyched up about this. Yes, it looks amazing on paper. But there are guys on this dream team that still have to qualify and/or sign LOIs. Seen it go against us too many times to get my hopes up.

Also, is it a sad statement on the current state of the program that we're not talking about this year (we still have a game to play), we're not talking about next year, we're not talking about next next year, we're talking about next next next year?!?!? I know everyone loves to look ahead, I just wish the near term felt a bit more promising.

Ah, memories. I had just sat down with a bag full of pop corn in my seat in the GA Dome then RW busted out this run almost simulanteously to me sitting down. Needless to say the popcorn ended up in everyones lap 2-3 rows around me 5-6 seats wide. No beer was harmed.

Love the site, guys; thanks for all the good work you do.

Have you ever thought about a Hokies in the Pros tab? Most guys are pretty easy to follow but I like to keep track of the more under-the-radar guys trying to make it big. Guys that come to mind include but are not limited to: Eddie Whitley, Ed Wang, David Clowney, Xavier Adibi, and Macho Harris. It's a little tough to keep up with them but you could set google alerts for them so when they make or get cut from a practice squad/CFL team, you'd know.

Just a thought; keep up the good work and let's kick some tail in the...Russell Athletic Bowl *sigh*

Boom! That just happened.

So...the marketing/administration finally listened to the fans!!! Maybe that means they've heard other stuff...ahem...

I really wish we could just stick with the Maroon sparkle helmets. You know when we didn't change up our helmets for every game, we were winning. Think I maybe a little superstitious?
