yea that was pre-kickoff but it's still pretty empty in there right now. I can say with confidence that LANE would def be much different.
I agree this picture doesn't tell the whole story and looks worse than it really is to the average eye, but to say we'd be anything similar is disrespectful. I've never seen LANE that empty 10 minutes before kickoff, regardless of the situation.

No it wasn't RVD. Mike Patrick made a mistake but he corrected himself. It was #44, I don't know who that is. RVD was close but wasn't him.
The stadium looks about 70% full. Noon games, boring opponent, losing team, would the #newhokies be much different 10 mins before kickoff?

If it weren't for all the stupid plays (was the RVD on the punt?), we would be winning. Hopefully they can keep it up for the second half.
1)Defense is doing great today.
2)Without the turnovers this game is much different.
3)Glad we got pts at the end of the half. Down 7 isn't huge, but should've been much different.

the D is fine. They need to keep doing what they're doing and continue to make Boyd uncomfortable. The score is reflective of all the bonehead plays we've made so far.
I'm really tired of this announcer acting like field goals are completely out of the question. If we woulda kicked the field goal on our last 4th and go for it, we'd only be down 4... He keeps saying we need touchdowns because we need points, well we need field goals because we need points too.
Now if our tight end will just stop overthrowing passes.
