I'm confused by the two comments above:

And I don't know if our play calling is outdated as much as it is just plain bad sometimes. I think that's more of what he was getting at, I'm not getting too caught up on the wording. And yes we've installed this cool pistol but it hasn't been that successful, and regardless, the pistol doesn't transfer to the NFL. And don't compare Logan to RG3, that's a comparison that Logan is not living up to right now, AT ALL. RG3 provides such a unique skill set that Shanahan had to build something around him or it would be a waste of talent. Logan not so much. He's big and unique in that matter, but I don't see any NFL coaches scheming around his skill set. He's gonna have to be a pro style quarterback that every now and then will get a first down on a broken play with his legs. And all of that interior running, trying to run over linebackers will stop with force once he gets to the league, let's be real about this. But overall, our offense is nothing like Baylors and he's nothing like RG3.
And to the one right above me. I love Tyrod so I'm taking nothing away from him, but I don't think saying we have a backup quarterback in the league is a strong argument.
Bottomline, let's be honest about this guys. If you've watched our games this year it's very easy to see that Logan has been pretty bad. His mechanics, his accuracy, his decision making, his everything hasn't been to the level that anybody expected. Not saying he can't turn it around (AND I HOPE HE DOES IN A COUPLE OF MINUTES #beatclem) but I don't think McShay's comments are really that off.

I too am saddened by the loss of Beano Cook. As a Pittsburgher I have been following his work for a long time and I will miss his stories of CFB history. Definitely pour a little out for him tomorrow.

DEF a factor as to why our defense has been struggling, that goes without saying. It's a huge reason our team has struggled. Clemson's d is weak so I hope it changes today.
But 8th in the nation in a stat that defines losers is never a good thing and very shocking/disgusting/alarming/painful/depressing. Something has to give and I hope it gives in (the second) death valley.
