Demitri should get the game ball. He was the most consistent player on the field and made some of the biggest plays

Cole had an absolutely terrible game in terms of missing tackles and blown coverages. But yet he was still kept on the field over RVD to run nickel? I'm not sure what to say about this because I specifically remember Bud yelling at him after a toss play and then don't recall seeing him on the field again. Could he be in the doghouse? Guess we'll find out sooner or later.

Other than that, this game's final score looked wayyyy closer than it should have been.

I have to keep telling myself that this season has to continue to go this way for things to change. If we somehow managed to win the ACC Beamer would talk about how far we came this season, and would praise the coaches. I just hope we don't embarrass ourselves against Clemson and Fsu.

But short of a Foster miracle I don't see how we compete in the division. FSU/Clemson are going to be a nightmare capable of laying 40+ on us, Miami not much better, and Duke/UVA won't be easy. Maybe we pull a Clemson and look terrible against everyone but them.

And somehow it's an 11-point game with the thick-side of 8 minutes to play. We need a quick stop, and it looks bleak, but there's a chance we pull it out.

So worst defense in years, no running game and inconsistent passing game, big plays given up on special teams. Any positives here?

I suppose minus the drops Logan has looked better and Knowles is awesome. Not much else to build on.

Do we really think they have any motivation to throw the ball with an eighteen point lead and almost the fourth quarter?

The only one of these that would not be possible would be Miami v Notre Dame if you made VT their cross division rival but my look hasnt had Miami playing Notre Dame every year anyway and they would still play every three years. You could make Pitt and Penn State the cross pod rival and UVA v UNC as the cross division rival. Would mean that UVA v UNC would only not happen once every five years.
