After the disasterous pick 6 last week, I am looking to get back on track. Interestingly, all the favorites are playing at home.
My picks
South Carolina -9.5
UCLA -7.5
Michigan to cover
Kansas State to cover
Clemson to cover
Oregon -23.5
South Cack
OSU
Irish
KState
FSU
Oregon
Sakerlina - Real SEC every time.
UCLA
Michigan
KState - I watched the UTEP game. Oklahoma just doesn't look that good.
Clempson
Arizona
Missouri
UCLA
Notre Dame
Kansas State
Clemson
Arizona
Stinkers there.....
USC East - Mizzou can't compete in the SEC yet, especially on the road
OSU Far West - I have no clue...
UM - Better than people expect, ND has gotten lucky
KSU - See above
FSU - FSU is too good
Zona - Oregon chokes and Arizona keeps it close.
that person in section 9 row FF in Lane Stadium on NCAA 13 has my likeness. I want money
Mizzou - Not sure if they pull off the upset but I think they keep it closer than expected. They stuck with UGA for longer than the final score indicates. South Carolina could be out of sync with Shaw coming back (not to mention he played poorly against Vandy).
UCLA - For years we've wondered how UCLA isn't better with their location and access to talent, and it looks like the might finally have a coach to utilize it. Hard to say what the Beavers have with one game against a disappointing Wisky team.
Michigan - What does Dr. Lou think? To be honest I want to pick Notre Dame because I feel like Michigan has no shot if I pick them, but screw it. Denard has terrorized Notre Dame for 3 years, pulling magic tricks out of his backside to win each year. Notre Dame is the better team but we'll see if they can pull it off after a big, emotional victory over Michigan State.
Oklahoma - Handled K-State way too easily on the road last year for me to think this year will be hugely different. I like K-State but that's the kind of beating that stays in the back of your mind if things start to go poorly.
FSU - I guess I'm buying into the hype. They did just hammer Wake mercilessly and their lines are supposed to be the best in the ACC. Clemson has great skill players but couldn't pull away from Auburn due to weaker line play.
Zona - Lose the game but they've looked good enough to cover the spread. Oregon has a tendency to jump all over teams and then ease up a bit.

and looking to get better in these picks, too.
Mizzou gets the points, but SC wins
I'll go with UCLA, and I have no idea why.
The golden-domers cover
K-state gets the points, Sooners win
Clempson doesn't Klempson until later in the year. They win outright, making FSU cuties cry. (If I weren't married I might look to comfort them.)
Ducks. Richrod doesn't have a clue.

The athletes cannot earn money off their own image so no one else should either. You can argue whether showing a student athlete's image on a TV broadcast is exploitation or if it is just reporting of a sporting event. Hyping a future event by discussing or showing star athletes crosses a line but nothing is done to stop it.
Yeah, players want to be on a videogame and yes their likenesses are being used to make mucho bucks and they dont get a dime unless they end up on the cover after they graduate.
It doesnt help that EA is so disingenous about the likeness thing, basically saying that "hey this could be anybody."
I dont know that straight up paying players is attractive because so few athletic departments operate in the black as is. If the NCAA says ok you can pay players then will everyone have to pay players? Will it all have to be equal? The cash value of scholarships is already unequal between institutions so if they let it be a free for all then something tells me that Bama might offer more money than say Akron. That would make the disparity between big and small schools even greater than it is now.

K St keeps it close?
Clemson should be able to keep it closer than that!
Arizona covers, barely
S. Carolina - If mizzou couldn't keep it close at home, they won't keep it close on the road.
Oregon State - #PACtion
Michigan - UM is underrated and ND is overrated. DenardX will cover if they don't win outright.
Oklahoma - meh.
FSU - they will win then likely lose next week at NCSU. #goacc
Oregon - Autzen at night
South Carolina
UCLA
Notre Dame
Kansas State
