Let's go with:
USF
Wake
Bama
Tennessee
USC
Aaaand in their first game since announcing ACC membership (even though not in football), ND will earn its reputation as an ACC team. Going with Sparty!

Rutgers - By all accounts, the Scarlet Knights have been terrible in their first two games. They have no business winning, or even keeping it close. But it's the Big East, so why not? R-U-RAH-RAH?

Wake - The way he's owned the Seminoles recently, Jim Grobe is becoming a metaphor for American westward expansion.

Bama - It'll be over by the end of the first quarter. It was fun while it lasted, John LOL Smith.

Vawls - Simple. Tennessee has Tyler Bray, resident SEC QB BRO, and Florida has um...two...uh..."athletes" at the quarterback position.

SoCal - I think Stanford will keep it close for most of the game, relying on the bruising running attack led by Stefon Johnson. But I also think the Trojans will cover.

State - Le'veon Bell. That is all.

Aw, that sucks. If it was like Palm Coast or something I might have considered it.

I can't wait to celebrate a Hokie victory in the shadows of Touchdown Jesus. All will be right with the world on that day.

haha sorry, didn't mean to leave you hanging. I live down in south FL, in Boynton Beach.

I dropped a bottle while we were up 7-6 against Alabama and I am now forbidden to drink any Captain on gameday.

BULLS
WAKE! When in rome? FSU has to prove they are back... and we are the ACC.
BAMMER
ROCKY TOP
SOCAL
MSU

Baird Rising Sun Pale Ale. Still too hot here for Fall beers...

In 1997 I was in 8th Grade and enjoyed watching Tom Osborne's last Nebraska team dismantle TENN and Peyton in the Orange bowl.

Was 90210 on the air then?

If their logic is that they should not have redshirted Wilson in 2010 (when they had Williams, Evans, and Oglesby coming back who had all used redshirt years) and used him in a limited role because he was too good to keep off the field, then the same logic should be applied to Edmunds, who potentially can fill a more critical need at linebacker. If the logic is to redshirt Edmunds because he isn't ready to start and that means an extra year of a great talent, then they should have redshirted Wilson. You can't have your cake and eat it too.

If Edmunds gets on the field next year, he leaves as a redshirt sophomore or redshirt junior. He is that talented.

I am cautiously optimistic... Gets ND foot in the door, test the waters with the new playoff, and POSSIBLY pull in Penn State to the ACC in 5-6 years for full membership (they may want a clean start post-sanctions)

But next summer FSU will threaten to join the PAC-14, and Swofford offers SDSU to both troll the Big East again and "shore up" the league while raising exit fees to 1 Billion dollars.

South Florida
Wake
Alabama
Florida
Southern Cal
Notre Dame

USF - All the makings of a Big East slapfight.
WF - Even if FSU is "back," I don't see how they get 28 points over WF.
Arky - 21 points for Bama over Arkansas seems like a wild overreaction to the last game.
Florida - The SEC big Meh. Mediocre, but Florida is likely better.
USC - Stupid Trojans.
Irish - Stupid Irish. Wait, now ACC friends. Go Irish!

Those figures are laughable. $2 mil per school is $28 million annually after ND takes its cut, which could be half. That's more than $10 mil per game, most of which won't even be picked up nationally.

USF - Scarlet Nights should try and convince Schiano to stick around Raymond James for the night. Probably could use his help.
WF - FSU's defense is legit, just ask Savannah and Murray State.
UT - I think Pease has found the next Kellen Moore at UF!! Driskel is awesome at 5 yd routes.
Bama - Saban is the smartest coach in CFB. Picks up his mistress in a limousine.
USCwest - The #1 pick in the NFL Draft is on the USC sideline this year.
ND - ACC > B1G

DMFW would be at VT this season if he had redshirted. i understand redshirting edmunds but if they intend on keeping him at running back because they think that he'll be THAT good, they need not take any running backs in this recruiting cycle (though green already seems like a stretch). they're wasting schollies. at this point, i'd say that edmunds ever being a LB (exclusively) is doubtful. i'd hope the staff would have enough brains not to let him waste a season working out in a position that he's never gonna play.

definitely a head-scratcher

Regardless if it's 90 degrees or 20 degrees at the tailgate, or if I'm at home, I *will* have a bourbon & coke at some point before the game. I'm usually pounding bourbon & cokes pre-game, but I'll do mostly beer on occasion.

At our tailgates, prior to shutting down and walking to the stadium, everyone gets together, participates in Old Hokie, and does a shot of either tequila or bourbon.

love the idea of sweeter tasting fruity beers for the AM. Would go great with my morning gameday shower beer.

If the game takes a turn for the worst, I usually switch to tequilla. My wife knows to leave me alone, haha.

I'm going with...

Rutgers
Wake
Tennessee
Bama
USC
Michigan State

I've been spewing the whole "college football is cyclical" thing for years. It's science, people's memories just only work in 3-year bits. We're like friggin fish.
