Tweedy not listed on the injury report... is he back in the two-deep this week? I know Bruce and Hop are done for the year.
I guess this is a question I can find an answer to on hokiesports.
Bryan Randall
Danny Coale
Corey Moore
Eddie Royal
Willie Pile or Lee Suggs
Now that is a classy move from a classy person. Nicely done Danny. Also props to VT's program overall for allowing a fan to come onto their sidelines during a game. I'm sure it happens but you don't hear about it very often except at a place like Virginia Tech. Truly makes me proud to be an alumnus.
My top five Hokies since we're listing:
1) Bryan Randall
2) Tyrod Taylor
3) Danny Coale
4) Xavier Adibi/Vince Hall (tie- two of the best collegiate linebackers I have ever seen).
5) Justin Harper- just because of the ridiculous amount of one handed catches in 2007.
To be honest I was really surprised he fielded that question from the reporter- really makes him look like he is still focused on the SC game. Usually I would say it's a 'coaching ploy'/head-game but he seemed genuinely upset about the comments. Actually I kind of gained some respect for him because he was willing to defend his university and avoided the infamous 'coach speak'; however, he picked the wrong time to do it- that's why you have the offseason or bowl preparation Dabo: now you look like a sore loser who is not even focused on the ACC Championship Game. He said he was but his facial expressions and emotional tone didn't show that to me.
Tyrod Taylor
David Wilson
Danny Coale
Jake Grove
Eddie Royal
Surprisingly not one defender even though I loved X and Tapp (-dat ass).
He has worked his way into my top 5 as well. I miss the EDDIE chants when he would return punts.
seems like colt is taking the hokies route the last two years. lets do this.
back to back.
I'M ALL IN.
might have to bring mini coop to his first game for that one too.
classy, classy move, dmfc
he is slowly creeping into my top 5 hokies of all time...tough to get him in the top 3.

Dabo, lest we remind you ever so politely about our history in the last 6 games???

Ok, thats over with, onto picks:
Ohio: Defense wins championships and shitty MAC games. Enjoy this MACHed Potato Bowl.
Southern Miss: They beat UVa and that's good enough for me.
LSU: hahahahaahahahahhahaaha No. Arky tried a 14 point lead then they got comfortable. They cover.
MSU: points. thats all.
Okie St: I love underdogs. I love their fire. They will drop 14+ on OU. OU is ALL THE PRETENDER.
VT: Tomorrow I will be wearing my lucky long sleeve shirt that we've gone seven straight with and I brought to C'ville for the 38-0 drubbing. We were embarrassed at home but when i saw the game in Lane, in the cold drizzle, I knew change was brewing. I know since then only laying three points on them would be laughable. 35-17 VT. COUNT IT!
BotW: Raging Bitch by Flying Dog. At 8.3% and under $10 this shit's a steal.
Northern Illinois - Eh, why not
Southern Miss - I would love to see So Miss win just to see what the at largest will be
LSU -the Honey Badger destroys everything in its path
Michigan State - Have to take the points.
Okie State -Hope they win big and cause a lot of drama for voters
VT - This team deserves a huge win.
...it gave me chills imagining that in the locker room.

5 away from Mike Gundy's age.
...also, the number of those that will never be forgotten at SMU.
Northern Illinois: Anyone that has contracted MACtion FEVER this year knows that Chandler Harnish is a "food-stamp-poor" man's Russell Wilson. The offense they run is perfectly tailored to his athletic ability. Just don't see Ohio being able to keep.
Houston: Cougars have only had 3 games all year in which they margin of victory was less than one score (UCLA, LTech, UTEP). Southern Miss is probably better than all three of those team...but it won't matter. Not with a shot at a BCS berth on the line, and a final audition for the most prolific QB in history before Heisman ballots are submitted. Cougs win big.
UGA: I don't think complacency will have anything to do with it being a close game. UGA has demonstrated over the second half of the season that they have to ability to field a competitive defense, and (in terms of pure skill) the Bulldogs will be LSU's toughest defensive matchup since Oregon in week one. Georgia'll give 'em hell. I still think LSU wins...but just imagine the outrage at the reality of 3 SEC teams, and neither of the two in the BCS Championship claiming the SEC title. That's going to irk A LOT of people. Except Bieber, of course:

Wisconsin: Madison is starting a late MONTEE4HEISMAN campaign; he'll get his touchdowns. And the Badgers will avenge the first of their heartbreakers. Maybe it's just me...but none of State's wins this year have jumped out at me, not even the Michigan victory, and those two losses to Notre Dame and Nebraksa, well those would be understandable if it was 1995. I think Sparty, I think "Meh."
Oklahoma: remember all the quotes from Tech players after their win last week over UVA, saying how they felt disrespected even though they've owned the state in recent times? I have a feeling that's how most of the Sooners feel. Yes, Oklahoma State is going to try and impress the voters to position themselves for a NC berth, but strange things happen when you press, and don't allow the game to come to you. I can totally see that happening.
VPI: And it won't be closer than two possessions. I understand why some want to make the comparisons to 2005. This is a different team with a different attitude, and unlike that '05 squad, this group has that sour taste of 23-3 still in their mouths. And based upon what I've heard, the leadership down in Clemson seems more concerned about the non-rivalry with Sakerlina (YOU KNOW WHAT, HE'S RIGHT. THEY AIN'T BAMA, THEY AIN'T LSU, AND THEY'RE CERTAINLY NOT CLEMSON.) than the immediate task at hand. I have no reservations about the focus of our coaches, or our players. It'll show on the field.

It sounds like it's going to be a pitbull time. Safe travels to everyone heading to Charlotte.
This winter I am going to putting together plans for next year's tailgate, tentatively scheduled for FSU. If this the is the second unofficial tailgate, the first being Wolf and BCO in CLT last year, then next season will be the first official one. It's going to be sponsored, there will be food, there will be beer and we're going to find a charity and hopefully raise some money. I dropped the ball this year, I won't next year. More details to come later.
PS - Take some pictures.
