I don't want to talk about this weekend... not one of my best. But I guess I should have known those suckers from Morgantown would choke again. Oh well. Next week = another chance.

AHAHAHAHAHA! It always makes my day to see a growing man cry over a sport which he has truly no control over. Almost as good as the Clemson fan crying on ESPN after CU got worked over by the Jackets. Too bad his really attractive girl is apparently doing an awful job of consoling him. Or is she crying as well....can't tell.

i have 2 spread sheets.

1 with the games and with the total. the games was correct, the total was not. fixed on master overall winning % now 62%.

my bad.

If you can't score a touchdown at home you don't deserve to be in the top five. Period. Every team LSU has played thus far this season has scored at least one touchdown on them with the exceptions of Mississipi State and Northwestern State. With all the hype that was surrounding Trent Richardson, they should have at least been able to manage to get into the endzone once. In my opinion the game was absolutely terrible on the offensive side of the ball, and I dont care if you can hold every team into the country to under 10 points, if you cant put up more than that you aren't one o the best in the country. Alabama just falls into the Same catagory as Oregon at this point, where special teams and offensive deficiency costed the team the ball game, irregardless of the final score.

Other than that, I like the list. Although I would move GT above Wisconsin and Cincinnati, due to the fact that Georgia tech has proven that when they show up, they can play some football against quality teams.

Is also probably the luckiest college football coach of all time. Friend and I were joking before the game that he had Alabama, unless the game came down to an LSU Hail Mary. I guess having your opponents miss field goals is pretty lucky too.

I did think that the offenses were absolutely terrible though. Trent Richardson did virtually nothing, and even Kent State and Kentucky managed touchdowns against these defenses..

I understand that Bama's offense looked terrible last night, but it was against the best defense in college football. They have to be at worst the best one-loss team in the country. I would put them above Boise, because beating Arkansas and winning at Penn State are a lot better than beating Georgia and Air Force. Everything else looks good. I might put Oregon above Arkansas, but next week will show if that is true. Maybe USC above Penn State because of the Stanford game.

But I think I was 5-1, not 4-2 this week. W: Louisville, Arkansas, Oregon, Kansas St, LSU. L: Arizona St

I like LSU to win, as well.

Da' ville - If VT has to play a Big East team in the Orange bowl, then I would actually like to beat up on WVU
Arizona State - I would like for the Pac 12 championship game to be less watched than the ACC Championship game
South Cackalacky - I wan't South Carolina to lose this one, because I know Arkanslaw has atleast one more loss coming when they take on LSU.
Oregon - Quack Quack Quack Mr. Ducksworth
Okey Dokey - I would like to see KState revive their dream season, but I think Mike Gundy is too much of a Man for them in this one.
Do I have to pick LSU/Alabama? I personally will be hoping the stadium implodes, but I guess if I have to pick 1 I will pick LSU to lose so that we can beat Alabama in a few years as a Super Power.
LSU

Missed one. Arkansas over South Carolina.

Not feeling great about my OKState pick. 21.5 is a bunch, but I will stick with it.

For me, it's not football Saturday until I read Seattle's picks. That beer looks so refreshingly delicious too. I want 20. Also Seattle you are going to provide a picture of yourself so we can GIF you doing hot yoga.

Yeah, I bet the view is adequate.

EVERY GOOGLE IMAGE RESULT FOR HOT YOGA EVER.

Thats what she said? Anyway I woke up just to do this so no obnoxious or witty comments today. Poor form, I know. Lo siento.

I also don't have the biggest football background, but if I were to use some of my common sense I'd base it on the fact that running up the gut requires more carrier vision. When you run off tackle theres always the oppurtunity to bounce it outside. But when you run between the tackles, its all about finding the holes, and I'm not sure DW has quite that vision yet.

While its hard to follow the awesomeness that is Seattle Hokie, here are my picks:

Loserville to cover
Sun Devils
Cocks will game

laughed a lot, especially at hookers, coke and money and kstjc

I have never read the Brown Bear book but I will definitely put it on my list. Will it look weird if I read it at one of the 37 coffee shops within 12 blocks of me since I have no kids (yet)? I appreciate the @GovernorofDixie recommendation, his work this week was great. Are Alabama and LSU both off again this weekend? I have not seen anything about who they are up against this week so maybe one played Tulsa Wednesday and the other played Miami(Ohio) on Thursday. Anyway I remember the '93 FSU-ND game. It was parents weekend for my fraternity and after watching VT stomp Syracuse 45-24 a bunch of families came back to the house to watch the game. My grandfather (i.e. dirty old man) was with us. One of my buddy's girlfriend was very well endowed and surprisingly my grandfather, Sweet Lou, took a liking to her. She supplied him with endless Beam and Cokes and it was a great night watching Sweet Lou get hammered and a good football. But I digress. I am still above .500 so I got some losing to do.

WVU - I had no idea Warren Zevon was dead. If we were playing the Dead or Canadian game I would have lost. My dad likes that song and whenever he asked if I needed anything when I was in college, I always said just lawyers, guns and money. I have since matured to just hookers, coke and money. Anyway, I probably won't watch this game since I will be doing hot yoga with a bunch of hot girls. When I check my phone for scores, it will be close until 3 mins left in the 3rd quarter, then WVU will score 22 unanswered.

UCLA - Like everyone else, I have no idea. When in doubt, go with the cheer pic. This could be the best game eva but unless the cheerleaders on both teams strip and take the place of the football players, no one will be watching it past 7:59EST/4:59PST.

Arkansas - Can USCe and PSU accept bowl bids to play each other right now. Hopefully on some floppy field. Neither team can score and although Arkansas has no D, I can't see USCe putting enough points to beat or cover against the Hogs.

Oregon - Its a lot of points but the Ducks seem fine w/ a banged up James and Thomas. This is the last game in Husky stadium as it currently exists. I think it will be close for a while but Oregon will pull away in the 3rd, much like WVU. I also know that Seattle will have about 30% more hipsters than normal and there will be a run on IPAs.

K-State - KStJC is having a great year, even if they lose the rest of their games. Bill Snyder Family might be coach of the year, or at least 3rd behind Saban and Miles. I don't see the upset here. Gundy will have his team focused but I don't think they will win by 3 tds, probably 2.5.

Bama - Wait, what, Alabama is playing LSU this week? I had no freaking clue. I planned on DVRing the Ole Miss vs Kentucky game and watching that at 5:00PST but maybe I will switch to this game. It may be good. It may be great. It may suck, but like BCO said, we will watch. The last 4 games or so have been decided by like 3 points so I am thinking blowout. I also have heard more people pick LSU so I am going with Bama.

These picks are brought to you by Bikini Blonde Lager. This is on my Mount Rushmore of Pilsner type beers. It really is What the Sailors Come to Shore For. It doesn't hurt that I have spent some time in Hawaii and spent each day the same way, surfing in the morning and Bikini's Blondes (the beer) immediately after. Although they taste much better on the beach in Maui or Kauai, they are also great on a rainy, cold night in Seattle.

Go Hokies!

I agree wholeheartedly... Wilson also needs to learn to not always have the 'big play' in mind. It causes too much dancing around in the backfield and occasionally causes us to lose 3-5 yards instead of gaining 3-5 in a crucial situation.
