Here's what the team needs to do: win one game at a time and let the rest take care of itself (cliche Thursday!). We win out and we're guaranteed a trip to Miami for Orange Bowl (obviously) and a game against a prime time opponent (probably Big East Champion- never mind the prime time opponent remark), setting up for a great entry into next year. Lose one game: Chick-Fil-A Bowl and hope for a higher tier SEC team we can beat into the ground (a la Tennessee in 2009). Forget the BIGGEST hope right now- just worry about Duke, then bye week preparation, then GT, then UNC, then UVA, and finally the next game whichever that may be (ACCCG or CFAB).
We need Hosley back and to have someone step up in our linebacker corps (obviously) on D and on O they need to continue evolving. Plus try to get the young guys some snaps at WR cause the two best are gone at the end of the season. Most importantly LT3 needs to keep PROGRESSING. Minus that one game which shall not be named he has done that. Also BETTER PLAY CALLING for Oglesby's rotation (he is a power back- run him between the tackles not on HB tosses or sweeps).

daU - Miami brings da swagga into an empty scott stadium
Sparticus - though I hate supporting Michael Moore in any way
K. State - Sooners probably win, but not by 13.5
Gators - jorts as far as the eye can see
Bumblebees - i'm probably wrong on this one, but i've been calling it for a few weeks now
Trojans - i like the points and i may even like them to win outright
its gonna be cold this weekend, so i may have to go with the bourbon to stay warm
Just saw Cyrus Jones named Alabama his leader. Is all we can hope for now are Ekanem, Caleb and Kirven? Will we be lucky to get them? Anyone heard any rumors..
Going on vacay... oh noes I'ma miss Dookie :O

Beer of Week - Backwoods Bastard out Nov 1, had to go to Boston College country to get a fresh one from the tap. High class bourbon (scotch) and beer, warms your belly!

Will Hosley be back this year? Who else will we get back this year?
Miami: Everyone is back, and like most of the 'Hoos down in 'Hooville, I have little faith in Teddy Graham London
State: But it will be close, I think it takes a quarter or two before the Spartans stop remembering last week and start playing the Huskers.
Boomer: I want to pick KState. I really, really, really do. But I keep remembering the way they let Baylor march up and down the field all afternoon earlier in the year. And Stoops will have his men fired up and ready to steamroll anything in their way. OU ain't out of it just yet, and have lots to play for.
Georgia: If only for vt1coop's contributions. Will John Brantley make a difference against a UGA defense that has found it's way since the first two weeks of the year? I say NAY.
Klepson: What has happened to the GT second half offense? A run-dominant team should be MORE successful as the game wears on, but this year GT has sputtered on offense, especially in quarter 3. That GT early season schedule is looking ever more patsy as the seaosn progresses.
Stanford: Stanford is one of those few teams that can do whatever it wants offensively, and no matter who they play, will be successful in moving the ball. UW is still waiting to hear back from the APBs they put out for their front seven, because they were nonexistent last weekend. What do we make of USC? The easy win over SyrACCuse should be viewed positively after the Orange Crush of WVU last Friday, but are there any other signature wins? ND derped its way to loss, and Utah was overrated. USC gave up FORTY ONE to an Arizona team that (UCLA aside) is pretty f'ing horrible. Luck and Company will have this over by the second quarter.

Miami - i will never pick hooville, EVER
Michigan State - defense is too dirty
Oklahoma - to cover by .5 points (or miss it by 3.5 - that would be frustrating)
Florida - the edge ALWAYS goes to Erin Andrews
Clemson - this is such an easy pick when GT is down in the dumps
Stanford - they will continue their roll
Beer of the Week: Patty's Chile Beer
It's the best and most unique beer I've ever tasted. It has a green chile flavor without any of the spice. I'll be in Denver this weekend for Broncos v Lions. My Saturday will likely consist of a tour of breweries ending at Wynkoop (just down the street from Coor's Field) where I'll indulge in the BotW. http://wynkoop.com/beer/our-beers
I love the column!

I'm not sure if there is an easier way to do it, but selecting random schools using the opponent history on hokiesports it looks like its Roanoke College

Miami - IT'S STILL UVA
MSU - I originally thought god wanted russell wilson to get a BCS title ring but after last week, eh. If this game was any later than 11AM local, I would take the huskers.
OU - Sooners are pissed and I think K state is overrated.
Gators - UF's women are hotter and their fanbase will be drunker. Gainesville rock city motherfuckers.
Clemson - I want to pick GT but I need to be realistic: two ACC teams have figured out how to stop CPJ's offense and Sammy Watkins could have the god gene. Clemson will not only win but will cause so much hurt that calvin johnson could sustain an injury watching it on his couch in grosse pointe, MI.
Stanford - I hate andrew luck but I hate lane kiffin more. Stanford wins until Oregon then gets destroyed. I stand by this statement.
