LETS GO
I really want to smash these has-beens into the ground.
E.J. Manuel is getting the nod, Jimbo wants to give Ponder's arm a chance to heal.
I'm most worried about how we start. We keep coming out flat to start games, and we can't keep doing that. If we don't start out flat i think we have a pretty good shot in this game.
I'm going to miss reading these.
Oregon
Auburn
F$U to cover
Nebraska
Beer: The Russian Imperial Stout that I brewed after watching the Central Michigan game. Delicious!
This is just pure awesomeness!
Good work
Wow, this season just flashed before my eyes. I can believe it is almost over. I just shed a tear. Thanks to the Hokies for making this last one more weekend. I never thought we would be playing this weekend so I didn't put this game in my calendar like I do with the other games. Also, thanks to ACC for moving this game to 7:45 EST or 4:45 PST my time. Regardless of the outcome of the game, I will probably forget what happens after 8:00 pm my time. If the Hokies lose I will just walk home from the bar with my wife leading the way. If we win, I will be heading out and drinking with a bunch of other Hokies in Seattle. Here is to hoping I am blacked out somewhere in Seattle late tomorrow night. On to the picks.
Ducks - The Beavers have kept this close the last few meetings. They will do that again this game. Oregon has some of the best cheerleaders and I am a little upset that BCO put a picture of a Beaver Cheerleader instead of a Oregon one but at least it is a hot pic of a Beaverleader. Since I think Oregon St. will keep it close my Opposite George picks is making me take the Ducks.
Camburn - After this weeks ruling that Cam didn't know that his dad was asking for money, I think Mr. Newton should ask Auburn for at least $78,000 for Cam's services tonight. I mean if Cam doesn't know about it, no big deal. There is no controversy here folks, move along, nothing to see here (another Frank Drebin/Leslie Nielson line). If Tyrod is Godzilla then Cam is Mothra with his comebacks, wallet and good air attack. Nothing is going to bring him down, not even the visor. Stephen Garcia will see to that.

F$U - Of course I hope I am wrong but they have our number. I remember being in school and we played a home game against them, in F'ing Orlando, FL. We sure have come a long way since then but have only notched the one win to a crap team. I will never forget the 2005 loss. I have never been more sedate during a loss and it was not because of drugs. That November my best friend and fellow Hokie was deployed to Iraq. His wife came over and watched the game with my now wife and me. I instant messaged the play by play to my buddy and yes, I had to replace the F, U, C, and K keys but I was calm and collected on the outside b/c I didn't want to upset my buddies wife. There were more important things than football that night. Happily my buddy is back safe and now I am all about football and my hatred for the Noles. I am still upset we didn't win in '05. That's why I think we won't win this time either, because we should. Also we have our own version of Big Game Bob in Big Game Bryan. Most games I have no idea what he is doing, in big games I think I am back in organic chemistry class trying to figure out what he is doing. But as you have consistently done all year long, Hokies, prove me wrong.
Oklahoma - Big Game Bob wins these game, he loses the really, really big ones. Also, Taylor Martinez has a conference call with his father, some business men from Europe and Asia and various cheerleaders from around the country, during the game tomorrow so he will be unavailable for action. There is a very slow train wreck starting to take place in Lincoln and Oklahoma will take advantage of it.
Tonight's picks were brought to you by Jubelale from Deshutes Brewery in Portland, OR. Beer tomorrow will most likely be Rogers, as it has been all year, except for the Thursday night GiT game when I drank Alaskan Winter. Not sure what I will do now but will keep you updated. Go Hokies.

Oregon; but the game will be close for a half. More teams figgerin' out the ducks- just not capable of stopping them.
F$U. I'm pickin' em, cause I don't know if Beamer's got 'The Big One' in him when the spotlight's on.
Cackalacki to cover....can win if the Ol' Ball Coach figgers out how to score 30 in the 1st half and hold on for dear life in the 2nd. Still want to see the BCS blown up....
Oklahoma sends the cornballers away, with a giant mddle finger bidding them adieu.
Maybe my bowl pick-em will be better than the regular season...been fun anyway....
1) Ducks
2) Tigers
3) Hokies
4) It's BO time!

Oregon - Blowout

Sources close to the situation say chaos will come out on top.
Love it love it. Well done.
can't wait to see him run around and through.
NOT excited to listen to the stupid CHOP all game though. UGH.
every. play.
more incentive to win, i guess!
So, so freaking awesome.
We could each go 2-2
a great movie-looking poster in a VT themed man cave.
this probably takes places 1 through 3
There's no point in anyone ever creating another VT-related photoshop ever again. Everyone else is just fighting for second place.
i'm blushing ;)
thats all.
cannot wait to see tyrod DESTROY fsu.
After watching the first few games this year, I have noticed a lot about this team that bothers me. Basically we are running with the same players we had last year as our starters, just absent JT. It seemed that last year we hustled more for the 50/50 balls and were not afraid to get dirty. Malcolm was a much better leader last year and he has not played as a leader in the big games this year (2-18 FG vs. Purdue, 9 points). Zo is still an extremely streaky player, when he is on he is on and when he is off it seems he can't even hit the iron. Jeff Allen still struggles with foul trouble and we still have not established a dominate player in the post. We talk about how well Seth recruits, but our teams are always overmatched when it comes to height (our tallest player is 6'9"). If we had a decent player inside with some decent size, this could open things up for the rest of the team. If we can't get it done inside, we have to shoot well from beyond the arc, we are just 29% on the year (Duke is shooting something like 44% on 3PT on the year). It also seems like to me that we had much more chemistry last year. Malcolm seems like he trusts his teammates less this year as well. Much of this team has played together for four years now, but it looks as if this is the first year they have played together. I hope we can pick it up, because I do feel Malcolm deserves to return to the NCAA tournament, he has been great at VT. Go Hokies!

Get the house in order.
