The SEC bagman only ends with their SEC ESPN contract.
I jumped from 7th to third last night by picking the games in order instead of by confidence. Congrats to winner.
Indiana also could have won big if the refs had called the penalties like any other game all year except this one.
There were a dozen PI calls on both teams where the refs swallowed their whistles. Holding was everywhere all game, some of it pretty egregious. At least two tripping calls. Indiana benefitted as much from the no-calls as Miami did.
I was hesitant to get on board. Then Indiana won the national championship. Why not us?
Miami could have won if they had the discipline to not commit stupid penalties and also to block people on a punt.

How was that not targeting on miami on Indiana first drive when Mendoza was carrying out that fake? Miami player launched of the ground with the crown of his helmet and hit Mendoza in the chin??? Is that not the definition of targeting?
Just Miami things

The right team won
SI also believing the hype:
21. Virginia Tech
James Franklin has wasted no time in making the Hokies relevant for 2026 with an influx in talent, positive vibes and plenty of coaches used to winning games. The schedule features a few tricky ACC tests (including at Miami and SMU), but their new coach can quickly raise the floor in Blacksburg.
Other Notables: Miami at 7, SMU at 15, and PSU at 22.
I'd prefer to start the season underranked, and end the season in the rankings.
One other note: in France, they tend to use disposable plastic cups for vin chaud (mulled wine). In Germany/Austria, you often pay an additional Pfand (deposit) of about 4 euro for a ceramic or glass gluhwein (mulled wine) mug which you can return for a new one when you get another cup, or turn back in to get your deposit back at the end. Those are highly collectible, as they often have the city name and year on them, and come in different shapes.
I stumbled upon a scum twitter space and the absolute comedy
Yale and BYU have similar symbols. I thought that was Yale at #13.
Congrats to the winners-https://fantasy.espn.com/games/college-football-bowl-mania-2025/picks?id=1b29c460-d8f3-11f0-8e6d-1902c04830fa
I finished next to last (one ;point behind Maxandcheese and 24 above VT Padre. Fun anyway!
I don't see VT as the preseason 2nd best ACC team or a preseason favorite over SMU, Clemson, or GT. That's putting too much on the Franklin hype and too little the rest of the ACC.
Also, no non-P4 (except ND), 9 Big10 and 9 SEC is nonsense.
Best news of the day is that the SEC has not been in the final game for the past 3 years.
The era of the SEC bagman dominance is over.
That late hit call was atrocious and I saw it coming a million miles away. Good thing cying ass Napoleon Dynamite threw that int and took it out of the hands of the refs.
Our new qb went 22/31 against Indiana as a freshman...color me excited
They made the national championship game and took the most dominant team since 2019 LSU down to the wire. Yeah, Miami is back. Now it's up to us to challenge them.
Sad Miami fans make me happy
Also JMU knowing their chance at a Natty just happened at Indiana of all places makes me happy, too
All in all, a pretty good outcome
Under 48.5 got home just barely
If you would have given me 50000:1 odds 3 years ago that Indiana would win a CFP by 2100, I wouldn't haven't taken it.
What Cignetti has done is truly amazing. Unfortunately for other coaches, he has also made the measuring bar so much higher.
1/2 of JMU wins CFP!
FUCK UUUUUUUUUUUUUU

It was the worst officiated game throughout that I have seen in a while. Lots of missed things.
