This is the type of hire I was hoping PSU would make, a Midwest to west coast guy, who doesn't have a lot of recruiting history in the mid-Atlantic area. CJF can maintain a strangle hold on the local talent with someone like Campbell. If Billy moves down 81 though, that might be a thorn in the backside, granted I'm hearing that he wasn't big on recruiting either.

Yep Franklin went 6-7 his first year at Vandy and 7-6 the first two years at PSU. That should be the mindset.

Yeah but dont tell their fanbase that. You will either be told that you are wrong because they are funding a $700M stadium upgrade so clearly they have the money....or they will say it was available but they didnt want to give it to Franklin because Big Game James yadayada. Very few are looking at their AD on how underfunded the program has been but at least they are starting to see the 🤡 in this hiring process
