Hokies matched the day one ACC win total in the first game.

ACC trails in three of the five current games. #22 Louisville with slight lead over #3 South Carolina under 4 minutes to play. SMU up big on Arkansas.

The Good:
1. Baker Double-Double
2. 73% from the line.
3. Anniya Trent with 7 points on 3/3 shooting and 5 rebounds in 16 minutes.
4. Held 7 Florida players to 5 or less points
5. Created 22 turnovers to 16 given up
6. Won the rebounding game
7. Won the Damn Game

The Bad
1. Wenzel, Nelson and Daley a combined 9/35 from the floor
2. Kayl Petersen another forgettable night. 1/6 in 12 minutes with 3 rebounds
3. Allowed McGill to do pretty much whatever she wanted to finish with 30 and the Hokies were fortunate she didnt shoot well.(although it was 2% less than her season average)

Could just be Franklin extending a courtesy and letting them finish what they started.

There is a small number of staff that want to teach alternative theories, one of the professors is proud that he has the most complaints of any professor and his complaint largely about him being sexist, racist and bigoted. From what I have heard from multiple people people that work there is that they are getting funding for creating new classes which do not align with the university or often reality. There is an internal power struggle right now between the administration and the politicians in Charleston that seem to be funding this.

Money only eventually wins because it can survive constant losing. It can wait you out. VT needs football to win so we make money, UNC doesn't need that money so it doesn't need to win. But if VT doesn't win then we have issues in getting money and then if we can't afford a team UNC can best us even if they are incompetent.

I think this is a good hire for them. He won't have the resources he had at Florida, but he won't have the same SEC competition either. He's won in this conference before, and JMU keeps winning regardless of head coach so unfortunately I'd expect that to continue under Napier.

Miami is doing it this year. Clemson i think that they dont have the coaching talent they had to get the players, I think if they still had the coaches they'd find the money based on how much donations they get a year.

I am looking at 24 wins as the best way to judge Franklin, if he gets 24 in 3 years he is doing great, if it is 4 years we have a problem, if it is 2nd game on year 4 then he doing well enough depending on each year because obviously winning 10-7-5-2 isnt good

Good ol' Quixtar. I went to the pitch dinner in around 2000-2001 timeframe. Got a nice meal out of it and some drinks. Even back then being that young I knew that was not a proper business plan. Told the presenters thanks but I'm out.
