Sieg definitely. WVU is expected to have a class of 45 and throwing around some serious money. Expecting multiple flips today. Not sure about Wiggins. I just don't think it's sustainable there. You can try to "build" all you want, but these kids will transfer out after getting destroyed by Texas Tech and BYU next year.
Yeah, it was posted somewhere else here too. They got CBs out of nowhere overnight
What, exactly, is going on with Lawal's injury? Does anyone know more than the obvious? Young has just said no timetable for his return, but is he just being super cautious and saving him for the ACC? Was this discussed in this thread y'all were posting while I was watching the game on delay? If so, sorry.
Reddit seems to be convinced that both Sieg and Wiggins are headed to WVU...
Anyone else heard this?
The oddest one that i can think of off the top of my head was, i seen Wolfboy Wulfberger on an application one time.
Cochrane in
James Franklin is hammering a narrative as he welcomes OL Maddox Cochrane on the signing day show. A Richmond product, Cochrane flipped from Wisconsin."We want all the best players in Virginia to stay home and represent their state. It starts at home," Franklin said. #Hokies— Andy Bitter (@AndyBitterVT) December 3, 2025
i wouldn't read too much into it. half those guys are alumni, so of course they are interested, franklin tried to hire mines at one point, so there is a relationship there, i don't think any of us would be disappointed if brooks sticks around...plus, the coaching profession is all about networking...can't hurt to stick around, show support, and get to know franklin a little bit.
plus, even though most (if not all) probably won't be around next year, they have invested a lot of time and effort into VT, and want to see us do well, i would assume
Sounds like a match made in heaven hell!
In my high school, we had a family that were all named, with a couple of different spellings, John McCloud. Mom, sis, dad and at least two brothers (it's been since the sixties and, well, you know) were all named Jon or John. The kids went by nicknames, I remember Boots and Buttons for sure.
My wife had a great aunt named Minnie whose daughters were, Tinker, Bunny and Ducky. And how about Emerson Boozer naming his kid Ima? I was in the room with a Hercules Twang (no lie) and a flute player in a nearby high school band in my day was named Narcissus King. Names are cool.
CBS Sports signing day viewing guide has a picture of Franklin at Lane Stadium for their lead.
Feels good to be relevant again!
No no it would be better if Kelly led them on for a day or two only to reject them and add to the long list of rejections just for the laughs.
John Patrick Oates official and listed as a LB
Not sure how meaningful or if it's just for the press and from working on getting these croots in the boat
Lots of assistant coaches here: Mines, Brooks, Price, Quinn, Jones, Prioleau, Adibi, Gouveia-Winslow, Phillips. #Hokies https://t.co/clvWlIq3TW— Andy Bitter (@AndyBitterVT) December 3, 2025
Kamren Johnson and Pierce Petersohn in
The guys a basketball player that just started playing football. He's kinda new to everything recruiting wise I'm sure he's just trying to see what offers come in and I'm sure some of our staff doesn't know much about him.
Is this an issue of his offer not being committable or him not sure if he is going to get playing time?
Brooke and Rainbow werent the swimmers? Missed opportunity
Well, for us it was a slow collapse, but the Pry transition where we forfeited a recruiting class cause of timing wasn't great. But at least we did end up with a few guys.
For Penn St this is an active collapse of the empire. They might end today with no signees and no coach
I agree. Recruiting has been Franklin's calling card, it would be weird if he somehow became incapable.
Also, this all feels sudden to us, but it isn't. He's been recruiting these kids for years. The venue just shifted, but all the relationships have been built on a normal time scale.
So I expect he'll continue to recruit well, but in future years it won't all seem to hit in a single week.
.
From what I can tell, they're trying to hype themselves up for Brian Daboll knowing they're going to get disappointed once again.
I was checking in swimmers for a lake swim my swim team puts on and got a Melchior Belfasar and said "wait your named for 2 of thr 3 wisemen" to which he replied, yes do you know the 3rd, and i answered correctly (thank you chrono trigger), never found out if that's his middle name.
My sister went to school with Brooke and Rainbow Trout.
I met a reminginton steel once.
By my favorite, we'll most confusing was Ashley and her brother Ashleigh.
In other words, same as it has felt for us for a decade.

anyone have the PSU livestream link

People could say the same about us. This class is tremendously exciting, but they'll all be true freshmen for the 2026 season.
Without a strong portal season, we likely lose a lot of games again. And many of these exciting freshmen could decide to go elsewhere.
FWIW, I don't think that happens. I think we have an unusually strong (for us) portal season, and I think these kids stick with Franklin for more than a single year; I just mean someone could view our situation very similarly to how you just described WVU.
