The news in Blacksburg is that QBs Andrew Ford who is already enrolled in college and Chris Durkin who is preparing with Team USA U-19 are ready to compete for playing time in August. All the QBs are ready to compete and as a fan and alum, I wouldn't want it any other way. When I first became interested in Hokie football, the program had a lefty who took the team all the way to the national championship. I dont want to overhype the upcoming competition, but I'm having a flashback. Whoever is the QB, I would love to see the program return to elite level and beat FSU on the way to a BCS bowl game and give Frank Beamer the ring he's been missing.
