For Sale: 4 tix to ODU, West 2 Row NNN Seats 20, 22, 24, 26

Not sure about seat numbers. After I purchased, it is saying seat numbers are 80, 82, 84, and 86. But seat numbers don't go that high in Lane. I assume it is a mistake and am looking into it.

If interested in these tickets contact dmcross [at] VT (dot) edu.

I have a question regarding parking passes for the games...do they scan the barcode when you park? My wife and I are selling our UNC parking pass and as she was tearing along the perforation she thought it was above the barcode and accidentally tore a little bit of it (not a bad tear at all and did not mess up the barcode and it was not all the way across) we taped the pass where she tore it with scotch tape...does anybody think this will effect the use of the pass or make it useless or no? I hope the pass can still be used, I am supposed to be selling it to a guy at work on Monday but I feel like a small tear and tape across it now will seem sketchy =(

No passes aren't scanned. Attendants just look to see if the pass is for the correct game and lot.

Thank you! I wish I could give you enough legs to go plaid, you have relieved so much stress with your reply haha

May not be the best spot for this question, but maybe still relevant?

What are the suggestions regarding best place to sit in the stadium, disregarding cost.

Is the club level even worth anything? Is front-row 50 yard line the best bet? Home or visitor sides?

Looking to go to a game this year but it's been so long I've forgotten how to answer this for myself.

my favorite are the outdoor club seats. Access to inside but you get more of the feel with your outdoor seats. Seats are more comfortable than the regular seats (bleachers). And you're in the shade (if you're going early in the season, this is definitely a consideration).

Sitting front row can be fun to listen to the coaches/players, but personally I prefer being higher where you have better view of the game. If not club, I'd pick somewhere in the Row M-Z range in Section 10 or 12. East stands 50 are fine too but for a nooner in Sept you're facing the sun all game and going to bake.

Just my opinion.

Yea, I had seen some front-row outdoor club seats in the West Stands ($160) but they sold before I had a chance to grab them.

I'll definitely take your baking in the sun fears into account with whatever I get. I'm thinking that maybe later in the year the sun could become preferable.

yep - if it's not In the first half of the season, the sun can be nice. In September its brutal though. I'm done coming back from games looking like a lobster.

Looking for 2 ND tickets. email: jmecca at vt dot edu if you have any tickets you're looking to sell.

Best advice I can give for going to ND game is to buy through ND. Tickets are much easier to get and at face value. I did not have a problem sitting around their fans. Much like Lane, I don't think there is a bad seat in the house.

Hope this helps:

Does anyone know of a detailed seating chart for Lane Stadium, down to row and seat numbers?

I'm having trouble finding more info out about the West Stands club level, are some of the seats inside?

Stubhub seems to think so but can't find anything corroborate it. Specifically Outdoor Club 12 Row KKK.

I'm about to put a few of my West Stands club 12 row JJJ up for sale on StubHub. You will be outside. You bring up a good point though, I can no longer find the interactive map that I thought was available outside of just seat selection. Makes no sense to me why they wouldn't make that available on the HokieSports website.

EDIT: those were my tickets last year, moved over to 14R NNN for this year.

Also some don't know this, so figured I would throw it out there. Alcohol sales are allowed in the club section, but you actually can't take your beer / wine outside to your seat. You have to drink it inside.

Doesn't really matter to me because I have as much fun in the club area or outside at my seat, but figured I would throw that out there. Once VT goes full alcohol, which will happen eventually, imagine you will be able to bring it out.

So all "club" seats are outside then, there aren't any inside?

No, there are definitely both, but the inside club is a different area and labeled as inside club. I don't know the section numbers for inside club seats. Believe those are closer to the 20 yard line and basically parallel to the press box. Outside club is beneath the press box, and in that section I don't think there is inside / outside, I think it is all outside. Others probably know well better than me as I am typically not paying that much attention when going to my seats, and I've also been drinking when I get there.

If you look at the link from jmecca, you can filter and see what I am referring to in terms of parallel (inside) vs. in front (outside).

There it is!
