So I'm renewing my Flowresling subscription tomorrow and the UWW 23&U and Junior Nationals are Saturday and Sunday and there's gonna be a total of 11 hokies wrestlers (5 in the U23 Tournament and 6 in the junior tournament) if anyone wants me to do match to match updates I'll start up a thread on Saturday.

Yeah I think the NCAA is looking at a January start for wrestling
Hokies just signed a Prep National Champion at 125 lbs out of Maryland. Cooper Flynn comes in as the #3 ranked prospect ar 125 lbs.
Hokies also signed Trey Kibe, the Pennsylvania State Champ at 170 lbs, who was rated the #4 prospect in his weight class.
Interesting though Coach Robie admitted the class was smaller than planned due to limited scholarships dollars being available.

That is a little disappointing to hear about the money issues since this program is probably the best one we have going and is on a trajectory to continue to climb if funded properly. Was that also an issue with McFadden switching squads to the one out of PA/NJ after he graduated?
It may have been a minor part but training for the Olympics was the primary reason if I am not mistaken. Not as up to date on wrasslin as I am roundball.

Yeah Mehki is definitely back! I'm also really interested in how Andonian improved from last year to this year and I think tomorrow is gonna be a nice preview of his improvement. Also looking forward to see Conor Brady, Cody Howard, John Borst and Hunter Catka on the mats tomorrow😁

Ok so the targets I can think off the Top head are
Nic Bouzakis. Number 1 wrestler at 132 Lbs. Jared Frayer and Nic's families are tight so that might help
Caleb Henson. The number 4 wrestler at 152 lbs. Probably a three way battle between Us, Unc and NCSU for him
Matt Singleton. Number 5 wrestler at 160. I think there's another connection here because of Frayer.
Nick Feldman. #1 wrestler at 220. Dad was a wrestler at Tech and was a 2 time all American
I think there's one more if I remember I come back and add him to the list
