Well deserved. Congrats Raheem!
He went full Beast Mode and was instrumental in pulling the upset, well deserved!
He had a very strong end to this season. Hopefully he has another big game in the bowl to cap it off.
He and Malachi Thomas' emergence in the back half of the year has been a welcome in-season surprise.
Hope he can join his fellow portal RB Herbert in the league and represent the Hokies well
Yeah that was a crucial portal season for RBs for us.
Both looked to benefit from us running up the gut more.
Corn's gonna give him 2 carries in the Bowl game now.
Maybe we'll be lucky and he'll be hired away by then.
Looking forward to Blumrick throwing it all over the yard as the game plan. They'll never see it coming.
Really, really, really hope he stays another year.
I am assuming you are not referring to Corn, right?
Oh no, I meant Corny. Love that guy. Hoping he, Stiney and Newsome can build a dream team staff here.
/s!
(I wouldn't hate Stiney return as long as he's just a position coach and recruiter)
I used to cheer "You can't spell INEPT without sTINEsPring"
My highest grades- Blackshear, Hoffman, Clements, Daely (second half), and Conner (second half.)
Wait for my film review. Most important defender on the field in the second half was Conner. He was given a big responsibility in the second half because of a scheme change and he delivered his best performance this season.
I know a lot of folks have been down on J Ham (especially early in games), but his second half adjustments have (mostly) worked, I believe adjustments at half-time are the sign of a good coach. Adjustments mid-quarter are a harder nut to crack and take talent and experience to develop and change a good coach in to a superior one. I want to believe that J. Ham is a good coach on the way to being a superior one.
Yes, but Syracuse
And Miami, first half. And UVa, first half.
All of Miami tbh
Been super fun to see Hokie backs step up against the hoos. JC Coleman, Sam Rogers, and now Blackshear. Dude looked FAST on Saturday
Speaking of RB's, is Holston even on the team anymore? I don't think he has had a carry since game 6.
Was hyping up the team captains prior to the coin toss at Lane North.
Didn't he get benched for saying something negative about the coaching staff on twitter?
Blackshear played his nuts off in the UVa game.
I watched the game replay, and he the man. He was superior.
