RUNNING BACK – Raheem Blackshear, Virginia Tech, Jr., RB, Philadelphia, Pa. Rushed for 169 yards on 18 carries and scored his sixth rushing touchdown of the season in Saturday's 29-24 win at Virginia • Registered a 50-yard carry, the longest of his career • The 100-yard day was his second of the season and fifth of his career • Honored as ACC Running Back of the Week for the second time this season.

He went full Beast Mode and was instrumental in pulling the upset, well deserved!

I can imagine no more rewarding a career. And any man who may be asked in this century what he did to make his life worthwhile, I think can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction:

He had a very strong end to this season. Hopefully he has another big game in the bowl to cap it off.

He and Malachi Thomas' emergence in the back half of the year has been a welcome in-season surprise.

My highest grades- Blackshear, Hoffman, Clements, Daely (second half), and Conner (second half.)

Wait for my film review. Most important defender on the field in the second half was Conner. He was given a big responsibility in the second half because of a scheme change and he delivered his best performance this season.

Five star get after it 100 percent Juice Key-Playing. MAN

I know a lot of folks have been down on J Ham (especially early in games), but his second half adjustments have (mostly) worked, I believe adjustments at half-time are the sign of a good coach. Adjustments mid-quarter are a harder nut to crack and take talent and experience to develop and change a good coach in to a superior one. I want to believe that J. Ham is a good coach on the way to being a superior one.

Blackshear played his nuts off in the UVa game.

I watched the game replay, and he the man. He was superior.
