-About a week ago, The Athletic got hit pretty hard by layoffs. They let go of 20 sports journalists with another 20 being reassigned.

-While ESPN layoffs began in April, it did not include on-air talent at the time. The on-air layoffs are expected to begin to roll out in late June, but we already have a few names that we know will not be returning to the network at the end of their contracts like Chris Chelios and Neil Everett.
