The 2015 Va Tech recruiting class gave me a lot of hope and it let me down big time! That is a big reason why I kind of do not care for star rankings. We were recruiting well in the 2013–2015 time frame I feel like. I looked at our 2015 class because the kid mentioned above is from way back then. That is like us still have Tremaine Edmunds or Tim Settle.

FIRST DOWN, HOKIES!

Miami QB Tyler Van Dyke hitting the portal. Not sure what to make of him, looked great as a freshman and looked like a dud as a soph.

Plan for the worst and hope for the best, not the other way around.

He'll go look great with out Cristobal as a coach

So that Miami TE is what, 27 or so? With a bad injury history?

I guess I get why he's trying. He's definitely not getting an NFL look. I gotta think that playing for Da U is both more lucrative and higher profile than USFL or Arena League.

gotta have a phd by now

Danny is always open

He needs that extra year on scholarship to finish it.

Syracuse hiring Georgia DB Coach as their new Head Coach. #1 Recruiter in the country. That's both a tough area and tough school to recruit for without the money that UGA has. Will be interesting to see his approach.

Fire Whit.

Shooting their shot. I can respect that.

He will get plenty of rope before the noose snaps.

Yeah #1 Recruiter in the country sounds enticing in a vacuum. However when you add in the important detail that he is currently recruiting to Georgia it paints a bit different picture. No telling how really good he is as a recruiter. Probably better than most, even with the bulldog on his chest, but still a bit of a gamble IMO.

Now if you are hiring the #1 Recruiter in the country and he was currently coaching at Syracuse, then you would really be onto something.

To quote the Brothers Osborne: "I'm Good For Some But I'm Not For Everyone"

The number 1 "recruiter" in the country is Tim Brewster- hands down. And he is actually available now.

Two questions: Why is Tim Brewster the best recruiter in the country, and if that's true, why is he available?

"Yes I am going to have favorites. My favorites are high production and low maintenance players, coaches, and staff." - JMFF

Because he signs 4 and 5 star players wherever he goes. If Pry hired him, he would sign a VA 5 star player to break our drought since Kendall Fuller. He is the first person Mack Brown hired when he came back. Wonder why? He is available now because he was at Colorado for a purpose and that purpose is done now.

Looks like he's already got a new job.

@UNC Charlotte with Biff Poggi who along w/ Jim Harbaugh knew absolutely nothing about a massive, organized cheating scandal within his Program.

This should be fun.

9TH SEASON of eligibility
