Just dropped that Jalen Warley, the projected starting PG for UVA has entered the transfer portal.
He had previously been the starting PG for Florida State last season and has 2 years of eligibility remaining.

OK- don't kill me- this is a serious question... could VT pick him up and he play this year? at this point?
He plans to redshirt, but I believe he would be immediately eligible to play due to the coach change rule.
probably not until after the fall semester since he's likely missed any deadlines to enroll
He needs to head down 81 and take the OTHER Exit 118.
Unless Tech had a winter intercession he couldn't play until spring classes start.
Wouldn't be the first guard we've had who didn't start playing until the Spring semester.
He could still practice with the team to get reps in.
More important is to lock in Chance Mallory, 4* 2025 Combo Guard that decommitted from UVA this week. Hokies and Hoos were his final six schools.
