- That sucks Webb was only ONE DAY away from returning to football activities when this happened. The former 4-star JUCO CB signed with the Hokies in part because of the opportunity to contribute right away. And now the wait is longer.
- Based on the recovery time of the first injury, perhaps he's looking at about a 6-month window to return. Fuente touched on that a bit.
"Jeremy is going to make it back," Fuente said. "It won't be in the spring, but he'll be back in the summer and ready to go. It's not unprecedented that people have come back from two of these. Obviously, it's not something that happens everyday, but there have been guys that have gone on to have good athletic careers that have had two."
Fuente said CB Jeremy Webb was one day away from returning to football a couple weeks ago before suffering an injury to his other Achilles. #Hokies— Norm Wood (@normwood) December 15, 2018
