As I walked out of PNC Arena after the game, I told my friends that we may have witnessed the worst basketball game in history. Looks like I was right.

I'd quit watching The Worst because it was really just an excuse to make fun of certain elements of pop culture that happened in a particular year with a sporting event as the backdrop. At least this video was actually entirely about the game.

The Orange and Maroon you see, that's fighting on to victory.

Pretty neat that I paid for a ticket that cost more then the total number of points scored in this game. I did enjoy the seat location though.

Commentator after out-of-bounds pass by NC State:

"Goodness Gracious: Someone was open, but he was in the 3rd Row!"

And "We'd understand if you'd like to avert your eyes."

Also (from the narrator this time):

"Virginia Tech scores, and the home crowd cheers because they thought they saw a basketball thing happen."

I thought to myself, maybe I can still play ball at NC State. I did go to their B-ball camp in 1974 and I still have my eligibility.

This video was okay, but it could've been pretty good with more Jon Bois...

Also, I'd argue that this wasn't the worst basket ball game in history, Maybe it's bizarre, strange, and definitely different, but I'd rather watch this than see Tech beat Central Connecticut State 94-40. Quite frankly, the NCST game was probably the most fun I had watching a game this year. It's memorable and a historic performance. The only reason to consider it "the worst basketball game in history" is if you have an attention span that requires something interesting to happen every 24 seconds, and your definition of a good basketball game is more points = good. Not to mention he seemed to skip over comparing it to pre-shot clock basket ball which even by his standards wouldn't make this the worst basketball game in history, just the worst basketball game in recent memory.
