I went ahead and cut up the FSU vs Clemson game. If you have some time, it is definately worth a watch. It will provide a good glimpse of the fast paced Chad Morris offense.
Also just a general note about the every snap videos I make. You might have noticed I keep them 'secret' and they aren't listed in my youtube account or searchable. This is a great FREE site and I give TKP staff first access to my videos to enhance the analysis they provide you. My worst nightmare would be someone using my video for analysis on a pay site. With that said, if you see anyone using them on any other site, do me a favor and give me a heads up!

See how the Clempson T's handle the two FSU DE's -- telling perhaps of how good our guys will be since I would put Collins and Gayle in their category.

LT's no EJ (at least maneuverability-wise) -- and Clemson was really over-aggressive which allowed him move away from the blitz and run away from the pocket until something developed; LT can't do that.
Line up with a fullback and ram it down their throats. That defense can't tackle.
man these guys are fast, hopin that our linebackers will be able to keep up

Which team tackles the best, and both us and Clemson are suspect at best, is going to be a huge key. Also must get pressure in Boyds face and we must hit him every chance we get. Also of note fsu absolutely gashed clemson on kickoff returns

Boyd looked a little rattled a couple times when they got pressure in there. So hopefully Maddy and whatever rotation of DE's are in there can keep up the work from last week.
i'll tell you what though
Wasn't too impressed with FSU's D -- though it's hard to make any D look good playing against Clemson.
Just some observations.. 1.

1. EJ Manuel has NFL quality footwork most of the time, which is a big departure from my boy LT3. As a result, EJ almost never sails throws.
2. FSU's kickoff coverage team absolutely obliterates the wedge on every kickoff.
3. Taj is way more athletic and elusive than I remember. He looked fast in space, and slipped out of a ton of tackles.
4. Clemson's offense is 100% dependent on playaction and misdirection. They were not nearly as effective late in the second half in obvious passing situations. Hokies must get up early and stay up, force Clemson to pass, and have our defensive line play pissed off.
5. VT must play zone defense to win this. Our DBs will not win man on man battles vs Clemson's WRs. Also, in man coverage, our DBs will be running all around the field, leaving lots of wide open running lanes for Taj and his new set of wheels. That is the problem - we havn't effectively played zone all year and we won't start tomorrow at noon. Clemson 40's. VT 20's.
Unfortunately, I agree. I will be aggressively hoping that we come out and pull the upset but until I see some promising signs tomorrow, I'll have major doubts that we can get it done in Death Valley.
