2X National Champion: Konopka went 5-0 with three pins to win the NHSCA's Sophomore national championship. A year ago, he won the NHSCA's freshman national title at 195 pounds.

My dog's name is Pie, but I don't wanna start something.
My ex and I used to have a dog(that our labs brought home with them one day). We called him 'My dog Spot' which morphed into 'Spy Dog Mot' which eventually morphed to 'Pie Pie" til he passed 15 years later. (side note - he was a wirehaired mutt-weighed about45 lbs but damn he could run like the wind; we paced him down the country road we lived on at over 40mph!)
The name Pie came from a SNL skit where they sang "Chicken Pot, chicken pot chicken pot pie". Our dog at the time was a mix of beagle and something and named Peach. Started with Peachie pot, Peachie pot pie, and morphed into Pie. Dog now, not our usual rescue, is a Jug dog. Jack Russell daddy, pug momma, 10-1/2 lbs of cute, with the mitigating of the traits of each. She is named Pie in honor of the original.

It was actually from an episode of the sitcom "Just Shoot Me' in 2000 which did star David Spade- an SNL alum.
The "chicken pot chicken pot chicken pot pie" meme originates from a 2000 episode of the TV show Just Shoot Me!, where comedian David Cross, playing the character Donnie, sang the phrase repeatedly. The scene features Cross's character as a mentally slow employee who suddenly reveals his intelligence by singing the jingle in a distinct, sing-song voice, making it an instantly memorable and often-quoted moment.
Also used as part of stand up comedy show with Jim Gaffigan (in one of his sotto voce parenthetical comments)
Don't know where I heard it, especially since I've never seen an episode of Just Shoot Me that I'm aware of. Either way, that's the one. Strangely catchy, and the dog loved it. Thanks for cluing me in.

Wonder what weight he is projected at for college. I've heard people say 197 and I've heard people say he will be a heavyweight
Wrestling at 215 in HS so would think getting into college training, likely stays Heavyweight but may also just depend on who else Robie has in the stable

HELL YEAH! This is what it takes to complete with the other 4 wrestling schools. Landing top 3-4 talent at each weight class.
Right now we have the #1 class for the 2027 cycle as well
