Kendall Fuller makes USA TODAY 2nd- Team All American Team
One interesting thing that should be pointed out is that the ACC led all conferences with 12 players. FSU lead all teams with 5 players.
Because we're all Sunday morning quarterbacks.

Hey All,
I'm at work so I can't get on all the sites but according to a link that Hokie Nation posted on Facebook, there's a flight from College Station to Roanoke.

Gosh I don't have this much time to look into all this stuff but it's quite possible now that Will Muschamp is rumored to be going to Auburn.
I'd hate to lose Bud, if this is in fact true, we hope its only an interview. My vision has always been Bud becomes our head coach, and Torian Gray becomes our Defensive Coordinator.
Was asked when he knew that College Gameday was going to be special. His response, "1999 Virginia Tech...Michael Vick, and Frank Beamer decided to use Gameday to show Blacksburg and Lane Stadium"
#Hokies DE Dadi Nicolas says he'll submit paperwork w/ NFL Draft advisory board. No decision yet, but he's scheduled to graduate this month.— Hokies Journal (@HokiesJournal) December 11, 2014
Josh would have been great (good luck at FSU buddy, represent the 757 and the rest of the commonwealth well during your time as a student-athlete) but Bud Foster and Charlie Wiles are the best in the business. I will never lose faith in our defensive line, regardless of who playing for us.

The team was plagued by the injury bug on offense and defense as well. An overwhelming amount of true and redshirt freshmen experienced significant playing time this year. In a nationally televised game, the Hokies defeated an Ohio State football program that had not lost a home game against an unranked opponent since 1982. Michael Brewer was a good High School QB but missed VTs spring practices and had not seen significant playing time at the college level which explained some of the communications breakdowns with the wide receivers. Despite the obstacles, the Hokies were able to keep their bowl streak alive and hold on to the commonwealth cup for the eleventh straight year by defeating an improved UVA team.
Imagine you are 18 years old and the top recruit in the nation. You have the choice to go to any school in the country (except VT because otherwise we'd all choose to Hokies).
Where do you go? Why?
Post for football and basketball, they don't have to be the same schools. Don't berate people for going to rival schools.
My choices:
For football I would go to Georgia. Warm weather, girls in sundresses, premier conference, team with something to prove. Obviously I'm a QB and they've done pretty well with those recently.
All along I have said it, repeated it, and stood by it. I was willing to put in another year of this if the coaches could show that they were bringing in the talent needed to make the turnaround that we all expect before Frank's expected departure after the 2016 season.
I thought we could do something other than wringing our hands this AM ....
Caption the picture of badass Brewer

and here is everyone else in the picture's reaction
Any other images out there of badass Hokies?
This little tidbit seems to have slipped through the cracks.

I give full credit to this to Will Stewart at TechSideline. Apparently last week/over the weekend they were told by people close to the AD that a deal to extend Bud and make him financially very well off is on the table ready to be signed. So if you are hearing anything about Bud going elsewhere (the big rumor right now is to A&M) those reports are 100% false.
Found this on Footballscoop.com:

Virginia Tech has just released that Brandon Facyson broke his Tibia and Fibula on the same leg he previously injured and had surgery on Sunday
Facyson will miss the spring season and is expected to return for the summer.
Facyson hasn't played since the ECU game on September 13th. The staff still plans to apply for a medical hardship waiver for him.
From the Commandant:
"Heading to Annapolis!
The Athletic Department, in recognition of the strong support of the cadets throughout the season, have offered up to 100 tickets for cadets to attend the game in uniform and sit as a block, as they do at all home games. The cadets are being surveyed to see who would like to be in the block.
Definitely in the spirit of Ut Prosim!"
I assume then they proxy tix you can buy on the site for the VTCC would be to make that block larger.
Congrats HokieJoe3 and zackvt14 for going 5-1 this week, finishing strong.
However neversitdownVT, Sshifflett, The Fighting Gobbler, and The maroon bird came up Big 12 and went nil and 6.
Overall, it was very tight.
For those that played every week, brooks_akerVT won by a single game, finishing at 55.6%. Hokie11_DBU missed a week, but was only 1 game behind Brooks finishing with a 58.3% correct picking percentage. if either of you are going to the Military Bowl, let me know, drinks will be had. Congrats to both.
