Because we're all Sunday morning quarterbacks.
I was on ESPN and they mentioned we offered him a scholarship (2015 recruit) at OT, he'll be with Settle and Tolliver for the Western Michigan game...broke his ankle during his junior year so 247 doesn't have him rated. 6'8" 300 lbs.

There is no denying the fact that Michael Brewer has made costly mistakes. But after watching all his games under center for the Hokies, Brewer has made more good decisions than bad ones. For the most part, he is a smart QB. When he has time to throw he is very accurate. Brewer is also resilient and has kept his composure when things are not going his way. Watching the games, it is also evident that the coaching staff is asking Michael brewer to do an awful lot. It is his first season learning scot loefflers system. By asking him to throw the ball so many times , are the Hokies putting brewer in a position to succeed ? ESPN seems to think not:

Let me apologize for the lateness of this weather report, its been a really busy week and fair warning next week might be more of the same. REGARDLESS lets get cracking!
It's that time of the week again ladies and gentlemen! Last week Well, let's just say it came and went and it's time for our next edition of the weekly weather report. I apologize ahead of time for both the lack of content and for the lateness of this, but modern physics and astrophysics is kicking my bum right now. And in regards to last week we lost but damnit this team is still really exciting, and I see so much promise with these guys. It's only a matter of time and things will start clicking soon. I can feel it in my bones.

I've been thinking about ECU since we lost to them a couple of weeks ago. Before that game, I know a lot of us we upset that we're playing ECU more times (6) than Florida State, Clemson, Notre Dame and Louisville combined (4) in the next six years.

This is a man that just knows what the hell he's doing. If he limits nooners then he could play Sandstorm on loop during the entire game and I would not care one bit.
Sadly we must deal with this issue for most of this year before we see a change.

Okay...I have no idea what went wrong last week. The formula was perfect. We hated on Urban...and won. We didn't hate on Ruffin...and lost. We hated (very well, I might add) on Coach Puss Face...and lost. This week, I think we should do a good...but not great...job of hatin'.
This week, I introduce you to P.J. Fleck. P.J. is short for Phillip John. He has a son C.J., short for Carter Joseph. AND one of his players (as TheFifthFuller pointed out) is named "J.".
So, I give you the first one:
"PJ Fleck" uses initials for names.
(yeah, I know that one sucks).

I know everyone wants Virginia Tech to dip out of the ECU series, but the more I interact with their fans and see stuff like this, the more I don't mind it. They have some moxie to them, they beat us, both of which make me want to beat them more.

It's Week 5 and while its a bit flat nationally, conference games are starting to get hot and heavy. There are some important tone setting matchups that are worth our attention. The ACC Coastal dream (or is it nightmare?) of all 7 teams finishing 4-4 is alive and well. Though its going to take work by Miami not to screw that up. The Canes would be wise to win this week or you can all but count them out of not making the ACC Championship Game again.

This is a reminder of what no player from Miami has yet

The Hokies have now completed 1/3 of their regular season slate. As been said before, NOBODY would have predicted THIS 2-2 record.
So far though, in your opinion, what are the biggest surprises, pleasant or otherwise, as far as player performances?
For me, pleasantly, it's been Deon Clark and Ken Ekanem. Light bulbs are really going off for those guys. Unpleasantly, through no fault of his own, is Trey Edmunds. I really thought he'd be on the field by now. The Hokies sure could use his services as a healthy tailback.
Carry on.
