The COVID-19 induced dead period didn't dissuade Tahj Bullock from making his first visit to Virginia Tech. On the heels of receiving a scholarship offer from the Hokies, the New Jersey quarterback and his family traveled to Blacksburg on Saturday. Their self-guided campus excursion included stops at the Beamer Barn plus Lane Stadium, and even though face-to-face contact with the coaches was prohibited, a FaceTime call with offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Brad Cornelsen helped fill the in-person void.
"The campus is real nice," said Bullock. "The facilities are good, and they're building a lot of new stuff too. My parents liked it, it was real good."
"I see everything they're building up there, real special," he added.
